I'm fairly certain you can't return e-cig products that have already been used . . . so that solves that!

Money is always tough between couples - my wife gets on my case for my e-cig spending even though it's not that much and I make enough money to cover it. She doesn't even work yet I don't monitor her spending .. which is plenty, believe me. I think it's more her getting annoyed seeing me vaping all the time - so she complains whenever vape mail arrives.

The greatest marriage skill I've learned is the ability to tune absolutely anything out. "What! Another e-cig package? blah blah blah".

That is precisely the reason that all of my Vape Mail gets sent to my office. :) My wife hasn't complained about what I spend on vaping. She prefers me vaping to smoking, but she just doesn't understand why I couldn't just quit smoking, and why I am not planning on quitting vaping. Its what I get for marrying a non-smoker :). But, I do keep my vape related spending to half of what I spent on smoking, and take the family out twice a month more often with what I am saving, so that helps keep her happy. I slowly introduce my new mod purchases at home, but my eliquid and RBA/RDA stash remains locked up at the office. (God help me if I ever change jobs... lol)

My fiance must think I'm an angel...I kept upgrading him through him quitting. I got him a cigalike, then an Ego Twist with carts, then some Vivi Novas, then an Apollo V Tube, then up to a Provari with an extension cap and a Zen rebuildable atomizer. He's been analog free since July of last year. I wrap his coils and build new wicks for him. I keep up on all the supply ordering for mesh, wire and juice.

Sometimes people support you and sometimes they bring you down.

When I started the "e-cig" thing back in 2011 my family was a little skeptical, and yes, I felt I needed to explain there would be an "initial investment". After I got my first kit and it clicked right out of the gate (over 2 PAD smoker for 43 years...NO one thought I would ever be able to quit smoking) everyone was impressed, including hubby. He wanted to give it a try, too. So I got him the same kit with the flavor he preferred and the strength nic he wanted. He played with it some...didn't hate it, but also didn't really warm to it enough to put down the cigs. He continued smoking full bore for another 9 months before I finally found something that would work for him (it was a X2 eGo size batt from SI then.) But for the 9 months he kept smoking...he wasn't real happy with my progression in buying new-and-improved "toys". He didn't really complain, but he did make it clear he didn't understand and was concerned I was spending too much on vaping stuff. I pointed out what I was spending with my over two pack a day habit...and how even with buying new toys, I was still spending no more than I was before. Once he tried the X2 last June however (he's just celebrating one year smoke free) he suddenly stopped smoking and totally GOT IT. He eventually graduated to the eGo T Mod (that big guy with the power head that has replaceable batteries) and I continued my journey until I found the Vmod bottom feeder. Now we are both happy. We have our preferred vaping devices, juice and delivery systems. It's stunning how much money we are saving now! I'll be celebrating 2 years smoke free in September!

So my hubby and my birthdays are very close to each other. I got $100 and decided I'm tired of the cigalike and ordered myself a eGo twist kit with kanger evod's plus an all metal vivi nova tank for my citrus flavors. He got super mad at me and was saying I should return the cigalike and get my money back and why did I bother buying it if I'm going to spend money on this other one. I am very upset. The thing is that I vaped in the past with the stupid carts and burned foam etc and just couldn't do it but now with all the better equipment I am excited to bring it up and enjoy vaping. He loves his cigalike and refuses to try anything else. Also he refuses to quit smoking too and I haven't smoked an analog in over 3 weeks. Am I wrong? It was my money and am going to use the cigalike for back up and short trips etc. I just don't get it. I have never discouraged him from spending his birthday money on what he wants. ...?

Divorce him! /jk

altho my ex used to claim half of my xmas bonus, or when i'd work side jobs for extra cash. he of course claimed 100% of his xmas money and if he had worked extra he would have claimed that i'm sure.
I told him once "This 300 bucks I made is going towards CC debt" and he told me "well, you can use YOUR half for that, i'm going to use MY half for (insert video game stuff i'm sure)"

I nearly decked him.

but 5.5yrs later he's still living with mommy and daddy, and I have a house, brand new car, and money in the bank.

my point being, he can suck it :)

Yes, yes it is! I'm thinking with the 2 protanks I want with 10 replacement heads it's about $70 so pack per day $7, I can get it in 10 days LOL!

Seriously...you can get all that for a good bit cheaper than 70 bucks! You can get the Protank for 14 bucks here

Kanger Protank Glass Clearomizer

Anyhow...good luck to you! Don't the him get ya down!

Seriously, hopefully we all can accept making some excuses for our mates' negative rationale. But please, never make any regarding your reasoning or monetary excuses for ditchin' one of da most devious BT plans ever!

Your body, health and wallet are what ya'll need to be sensitive and responsive to!!!

Best of wishes out to ya! Bottom line, it IS your life...
