Here's what they look like:

Here's a chart to define a micro coil inside diameter:

OK so this isn't my design but its a micro/mini coil ceneterd on an Igo w. The process isn't to hard. Sorry no video, what you want to do is when wrapping your coil you want the top wire lead to attach to the screw opposite of the hole the bottom lead goes through. EDIT: Wrapping your coil from right to left, so the wire starts near you and is pushed away on the first wrap. So with 3 post horizontal to you, the top lead goes on the left side of the screw goes to the right hole, rotate 180 degree's and repeat. I've found that a small bend is necessary to get it in then pull gently with some needle nose plirez to get the coil closer. Once your bottom leg is set wrap the top leg, straighten, tighten, and straighten once again. Then stuff with cotton and vape. I'm not entirely sure why the bottom leg do sent get hot,bit I have some theorys. This setup provides a nice cool vape that is smooth and flavorful, with the added beni it of unobstructed dire t to the coil airflow. I just wrap the Kanthal around the wick freehand. I use an alligator clips to hold the Kanthal and wick in place and I carefully wrap the coil. All the 'methods' that I tried were more difficult than just wrapping it freehand.

With SS mesh, I also use freehand. I find this is easier than using a drill bit.

I'm currently vaping a 0.4 ohm, 2-wire, microcoil in an iGo-L...

Not twisted, parallel... just like a normal microcoil, but using 2 wires side by side... it's like cramming a dual coil into the space of a microcoil.

When the coil is done, the wires end up like:

121212121212

instead of a single or twisted wire doing:

111111

or a dual coil:

111111.....222222

I pretty much freehand all my builds except when doing micro coils. By method im meaning more the configuration of coils and wick. Like if I remember thr Mt pinatubo build its a single wick center made of a 3mm center, 3 pieces of 2mm, and 3 pieces of 1mm wick layed around the 3mm, kinda circling it. Think 6 pointed star. Then wrapped with 2 coils.
