Even though it is plastic, the ratank is treating me pretty well. No leaks and the plastic can be easily replace with metal. Not that complicated or difficuult. The delrin sections are somethiing i appreciate though. They can be easily drilled out for us folks that like to chain vape. 
As for looks, it really depends wwhat you have i guess. I have a black appolo vtube with red led so my ratank looks pretty good on there. Wouldnt be the case if i had something silver or chrome though.
I can see the turn offs but honestly, for the money, doesnt get much better. There are ways of keeping the top cap on too.
