Recent shipping experiences with Gearbest?

Greetings

There is an item I want to buy from Gearbest thats slightly cheaper than fasttech. I have never ordered from Gearbest but have heard good and bad reviews from them. I have ordered from FT on many occasions and my order typically takes 3 weeks or less to come to Florida.

Just curious if any of you guys have ordered from Gearbest recently with their free shipping option and if you got it within a reasonable amount of time. I typically use singapore post with fasttech as the free option there. Whats the free service that GearBest offers? Thinking maybe I shouldnt chance it and just go with fasttech lol

I generally get better service with GearBest than i do with FastTech and faster delivery. The shipping upgrade for priority mail is cheap enough, well worth the extra $1 ish.
Only ever had one problem with a DOA and they refunded immediately without the need to return the mod.
The general perception is that FT offer a better service but that's based on past performance, in my experience FT lags way behind GB and has done for a good 9 months.
Bear in mind that i'm UK.

I have ordered several times from GB, 31 days is the longest it has taken to get to me.

As for RECENT transactions, I've got 2 orders at Gearbest right now. The first has now been a month shipping time since I got the tracking number; it's somewhere between here and there. The second order's tracking number still shows in China somewhere, and that's after 2 weeks.

I've had good luck before with GB, but shipping time on these last 2 orders is at least double of what it was last year. With FT, the shipping seems faster, but getting the order out to begin with can sometimes be a challenge.

My last GB order, just a few weeks ago. Only took about 2 weeks to Canada
Not to bad, considering it goes to UK first then to Canada.
