So I purchased a Authentic dna 30 a while back and absolutely love the device. But its big, and somewhat bulky. I have small hands, almost girlish :( os its annoying carrying the thing around, as well as in my pocket most times. I also work in the EMS field, so I dont like having to carry it around cause its like a brick. I purchased a smok m50 hoping to squelch most of my issues, but alas, the device ... BLOWS. I could go on and on about it, but beyond the power reduction, faulty battery reader, and ohm reader, I just hate the device. So here comes my question, finally. What would be a good alternative to the smok m50. I did have mine upgrade to the 65 watt, but still didnt fix any issues, but 65 watts or higher isnt a necessity. Id like to keep it around the 50 watt mark, and keep it to a slimmer device if at all possible. And hopefully not over 100$, im somewhat on a budget here.

I had a few people recommend the iStick 50w device to me, as it fits all my needs and wants. Just if the battery dies on it, im SOL. So any other recommendations would be appreciated, or should I just purchase the iSick 50w?

I debated getting the IPV mini2, I just keep leaning towards the iStick simply because of all the good reviews it receives.

I had the same debate. I own the original istick20w. Ipv mini regulates power so much better. It is really noticeable between those two. I think they may have changed that on the 50. Not sure. I also wanted to have replaceable battery. So nice to just pop a freshly charged battery in though when one dies. That said it is heavy.... Which sounded important to you.

I think you'd be happy either way...but if weight is a major consideration then compare those specs.

If you're not keen on internal batteries take a look at the Sigelei 50w v2. I don't have one myself, but own a Sig 100 and 3 Sigelei Mini 30w boxes, and all are of superb build quality.

That's the one I'm looking at.

For extra battery life I'm also looking at the ipv4. I don't need 100W, but love the long vaping life of two battery mods. It looks pretty slim and I'm seeing preorders for $75 or so.

I'm pretty much using the iPV Mini, Mini 2, and soon to be iStick50. Technically, they all can be charged via USB (which I'd only do with my iPVs in a pinch.) I have an adapter in my car that was originally for my cell phone, but it's the same USB micro that all three of these devices can use. So, when I'm on a long trip, I have less fear that I'm going to run out of battery - more fear that I'll run out of juice :)

Used to use MVP2s. iPV Mini/2 is heavier than the MVP (geesh, that feels like a feather by comparison!) I'm excited to try the iStick (didn't jump on the early ones after reading a lot of the concerns people had, but it does sound like the 50 has resolved a number of those issues.)
