I spoke with this gentleman on the phone, and sadly, didn't note his name. He could not speak directly about what is and is not allowed, as there's nothing in black and white.

His recommendations for helping forward electronic cigarettes are:

1. Write a letter voicing your support and provide any positive numbers you can to the FDA, and send it Fedex or UPS. He said the best option is Fedex since you get the name of the person who signed for it. Wait a week from the time it arrived, and if you do not have a reply, look the person up in the FDA directory, and speak with the person who signed for it. They are legally obligated to reply to any letter they receive in writing.

2. Contact your local state representative's office. Make an appointment, and meet them in person. Explain your situtation in a positive manner. Get them involved as support for your cause, and if you can, get them to contact the FDA on your behalf.

3. Contact your local federal representative's office. Make an appointment, and meet them in person. Again, explain your situation in a positive manner, and try to get them to contact the FDA on your behalf. He stated that the FDA 'will do back flips' to answer to federal representatives. He went on that this is by far the best way to get your voice heard loud and clear.
