check out pbusardo's youtube channel or grimmgreen, they both have helped me a lot with their reviews on some stuff my b&m store has

honestly though i use my mini and normal nova with a 1.8ohm head on my eGo when im out and about but with something like a Vamo (my next purchase) i use cartos, or a DCT so much better flavor and vapor imho.

Telescope are great because of ability to use any size battery according to your vaping situation. You don't have to spend a lot of money on one. Smoke I own a smoke tech one that cost me 50 bucks. Make sure to shop around and view ratings of mods or visit your local e-cig store. Have fun with your addiction turned hobby, im well over 15 hundred invested in 6 months of being cig free. Trying to find a perfect Vape for your favorite brand or flavor is the key to vaping!

I have seen a lot of posts where people have problems with the novas. I have two mini's that don't work right but the inside posts are crooked. Once you learn to work with them they are really good and cost efficient. Some of the heads are not metered correctly so you must check them. I have heads that say 1.8 but meter at 2.9 so and this is a lot of the problem. I tend to prefer the mega mainly because I have not had one problem and am now rebuilding my own.

i personally do not care for the telescope, just my opinion, maybe i am just a digital kid and prefer a screen :\ no shame in preferring a mechanical mod though.

Eagle, watch a couple tutorials or reviews on the nova tank systems you might be prepping the 1.8ohm head and giving it too many volts, you might try changing the head and priming it proper, and always tip with a nova.

I only had one nova head that kept that burnt taste and i just switched (and eventually cleaned) the head no problems, just got to make sure they wick up, the mini for me seems to wick better. im always priming and tipping my regular nova

I'm using the Mini now on my Inferno, 1.8ohm and the draw is weak. On the big Nova I tried all 3 heads on my LT from 3.7v all the way up and the only vape I got was burnt taste.. I watched every video out about setting them up and cleaning but with no luck.. Ill keep playing with it but I know I wont buy them again.

Addition of some extra wicking material could help with the burnt taste on the stock Vivi heads and is drop dead simple to do.

Get some clean, natural (non-dyed or treated) cotton, bamboo or hemp. Boil it twice to make sure no additives are still present. Then cut the wick to length and lay it over the coil (it doesn't have to go through). Slide the grommet back down & give it a moment to wick, then try it. Still dry, add another piece of wick.

I would say get a multimeter too. They are an essential bit of gear. Checking battery voltages (fresh from charger/PV) and resistance of coils (stock or RBA). They can be had for relatively cheap, but IMO its worth it to get a decent one ($20-40).

baron, you ordered two novas, but are you vaping one now?

if so, try tipping it after a few vapes to wet the wicks and if its translucent look for a tiny air bubble to pop out of the wick holes, with some liquids especially ones heavy in VG or VG pure the holes are not big enough and the wick is too tightly wound to pull the liquid up as fast as needed to keep up with the speed at which you are vaping.

if you are using a carto, well, ime it is trashed once you burn it. at least if you burned the polyfill materiel, one dry burn usually is recoverable if you catch it quick enough, but if you are getting repeated moist thick vapes but burnt flavor it is time to trash it

my b&m store has started selling all novas with one extra thread of (i believe silica) wick layed over the coil in that fashion. it is a nice touch, and as you said, really easy to do

I am also a newbie at vaping. I only used one Vivi Nova so far and just cleaned it the first time 2 days ago. I just followed pbursardo in the YouTube video and it all worked fine. I am still not sure if I like it as much as the Kanger T2 - it might be better once I find a juice that I like that works well with it.

Since I am still trying lots of different juice flavors - I actually prefer a smaller tank - it took me over a week to go thru Vivi Nova tank full of juice. I just tried the same juice in a Kanger T2 and it does appear stronger and more flavorful in the T2 than it did in the Vivi Nova.

well good night you guys, i think you will figure out what works best for you, it seems like you have stuck to it enough not to be one of those people that buys a gas station fail-cig and jumps back on the analogs. Plus there is a lot of info just in this thread alone that will help you out a lot.

there are a lot of variables going on with some tank systems and there are a lot of knock offs like klynn said but once you figure out the trick to getting that one to work you will be all the wiser at vaping.

good luck! good night!

Welcome to vaping:) vivi novas are cool. Try everything if your budget can handle that if not then cartos and tanks work good for beginners variable voltage mods are good for cartomizers and tanks, vivi novas from my experience are low resistance and like 3.7v when you get more experience than start trying rebuildables happy vaping!

Think I figured out my distain for the Vivi.. The small one works great on my Ego style batteries the BIG one sucks on my LT and its not the Vivi its the LT.. There isn't a place for it to draw air.. I'm getting a MVP and VAMO for xmas and I'll try it AGAIN.. The mini Vivi got better as it broke in.. Now it's my best tank for my Ego batteries.

I have the Chrome LT not the 2.0 and the Vivi sits to flush on top..
