Thanks for the picture... I think I'll more than likely go with the 19mm .. I'll have to check their site again to look a capacities to be sure, but I'm actually accustomed to going through a 4ml tank per day with my Inferno from Volcano, so anything that size or higher would work fine. Very good looking tanks though now that I see them on the Provari..

Are those the plain stainless steel caps?? I'm still on my phone so but hard to tell lol

Yes, they're the stainless. I'm going to order another tank soon, still trying to decide if I'll go with another 25mm and whether or not to get acrylic. I go through about 3ml a day these days, so the 19mm is right on the edge.

I'm really looking forward to getting two of them with the acrylic caps in about a week.

My Provari actually JUST arrived here at work for me.. 6 and a half hours til I get home and can check it out... torture lol

I'm also actually liking the look of the big daddy and Lil mama tanks. My Provari is the satin black and they've got a dark anodized style that's pretty sleek. Plus I'd go ahead and order that adaptor Baditude mentioned. After watching the video and using the 4ml volcano tanks in my inferno that thing would be extremely useful.

Both me and my boyfriend have tanks from Phiniac, which are the pyrex tanks. And they do stand up to the dropping on the concert flooring, just recently had that happen to me, it fell out of my purse, (broke the cart that was in it, didn't even chip the tank). For the carts, we get them from SmokTek. I have not had any problems with them. They have may choices and different DC and hole options.

The Phiniac tanks look incredible and I'd have no issues spending the money on several if they only had some in stock LOL. Did I miss something on the site that allows you to request them be made or do you just have to time it right and hope to get what you're wanting??

The only negative is that I'm big in the sleek appeal of my devices and the specs I saw for the majority of their designs were over 19 in width which I would assume kind of sticks out a bit as the IBTanked 25's do...

Are you using it with a Provari? and if so do you by chance have an image that would give me an idea on their width and the contour of them bs the Provari?

I have a Phiniac that I use with my Provari (full size with battery extension), and it looks fine. The end caps on the Phiniac are about as wide in diameter as the main Provari tube which is about 22mm. I know that IBTanked is working on 2 new sizes, one of which is the 22mm diameter for Provari and similar sized APVs, and one is the 30mm for the really big battery mods. We'll hopefully see those come up on the site in a few weeks.

OCD from IBTanked has a thread here on ECF in which he is very active, and you can ask him anything you like:

You can order your Phiniac tank however you want it. The bare bones tank is called a naked tank by Phiniac. For additional money you can get one designed any way you'd like. 3-D glass-blown designs, colorized sandblasted designs, textured designs, frosted, etc.

Phiniac has a large choice of designs on the website. You can also request something personally customized with your own design. For example, someone here at ECF had them sandblast the Rolling Stone's trademark tongue and lips on their tank.

I have an Elegance tank from Hoosier Vapes which at the time of purchace only came with a polycarbonate plastic tube, which I dislike with a passion. I have switched completely to pyrex glass tubed tanks. I figured out that the clear Phiniac pyrex tubes would fit this tank. So I had Phiniac orange-sandblast one of their designs onto an XL-v2 clear tube. Below is the tank.

My hybrid tank: Hoosier Vapes' Elegance Tank endcaps and Phiniac pyrex tube on a Silver Bullet and Provari.

...are all of the "Punch!" series pre-punched as the name suggests from Ikenvape?? The only reason I ask is due to the product description in some of them explaining the punch configuration, and others lacking any information about the hole size or quantity.

Yes, if they are labeled "Punched!" on the website, they will have two laser-drilled holes.

After wondering who in the world would ever drop their Provari, I knocked mine over on a glass table twice in the past week. Not a scratch on it.

Apparently the secret is the annealing process of the glass manufacturing. Annealing involves hearing the glass to 2000+ degrees for a day. It makes the glass super strong.

I'm not sure if the IBTanked Pyrex tanks are annealed, but they probably are. Batitude has good recommendations.

Glass tanks do clean up easy and since they can take a beating, I feel more comfortable using one.

Glass is also not reactive to most chemicals, so you can vape any juice you like. Citrus, cinnamon, whatever.

Typed on my mobile. Please excuse typos.

You're not the only guy. I got an IBTanked upon your suggestion. They are really great tanks , and half the price of the Phiniac with the SS end caps. I vape citrus juices, so I feel I need the extra protection.

I'm the guy that really likes the Ibtanked. I'm currently on my I-pod touch so I can't insert links. However, you can click on the link below in my sig to see my tank setups on a provari, silver bullet, and bb. I also did a review of the Ibtanked in the tank review subforum.

I have Ibtanks, phiniacs, elegance tank from Hoosier vapes, high desert, and smokteck.

Yeah AFTER mentioning it seemed like all of the tanks I'd looked at were sold out, I noticed the option to sort by Availability... duh... and I call myself a geek/tech.. lol.

Very ironically, my two favorite liquids of all time.. (not fond of the company, but I love these flavors).. are the Congress and Sahara from V2.. Quite overpriced compared to others, but I could vape either one of them for days on end. The reason I began with ironically, is because without having really looked into things, I ordered my provari with the standard DCT tanks and carto replacements that Provape sells on their website.. and I'll be d@*ned... both of those V2 liquids work with the carto replacements that Provape sells beautifully.. (The single coil 3 ohm 2 hole punch cartos)..

So I'd love to be able to keep using these as I've found a great voltage level for the carts and the liquid.. I couldn't find any information regarding the length of the cartos on the Provape website, so I issued a ticket requesting information about the length of them. I might ask about the manufacturer as well to see just what company is supplying them, because I've really missed these two liquids and I haven't put my Provari down since I tried the liquids and found them to work successfully. LOL.. Once I find the length, it would be that much more amazing if I was able to get a couple of the IBTanked setups and one or two Phiniac tanks that will fit these cartos.. Or possibly Provape will tell me who the actual manufacturer is and I can look for some longer ones if needed.

Provari carts SHOULD fit the 19mm IBTanks and the standard Phiniac tanks just fine.

For super easy filling with my tanks I actually prefer an xl carto. With it being longer i can pry the top cap off slowly by wiggling it back and forth with my thumbs then slide it up the carto and drip tip (which is the same diameter as my carto as well) Filling is a breeze with a standard bottle this way and then all you have to do is pop the top cap back on, unscrew the tank and then blow through it.

Takes all of 15 seconds to fill it this way

That's an interesting approach I hadn't considered. I really don't find filling tanks to be a hassle just because at one point in my vaping I was using a large gauge syringe to fill up V2 blanks ... That.. was a pain--LOL.

I have needle caps for almost all of my liquids, so using the SlapYoMama adapter to push them through easily combined with the needle caps should be easy enough for me. Even without the adapter anything is better than filling up V2 blanks via a syringe LOL..

The DCT (stands for dual coil tank) carto's, and DCT tanks for that matter, are 45mm length.

The 45mm cartos will fit the XL length IBTanks and the XL-v2 Phiniac tanks. (ie. smoktech dct, ikenvape mega's, boge XL)

The 35mm cartos will fit the standard IBTanks and the regular size Phiniac tanks. (ie boges std, ikenvape std)

The 45mm cartos sold by Provape are in all likelihood Smoktechs. Most 35mm cartos are made by Boge.

You "could" put a 45mm carto in a standard size tank, but part of the carto would stick out like the XL carto in the standard length frog tank below. Purely an aesthetic issue. / A 35mm or standard carto would not work in a DCT or XL length tank; the carto end would not reach the top endcap or drip tip.

Hope that helps clear up any confusion.

Zapped, you really fill your tanks this way? Your method of filling by removing the top cap off of the tank has a real possibility of flooding the carto when you replace the top cap. The combined sudden pressure of compressed air and juice from the top cap forces a large quantity of juice into the cartomizer...theoretically TOO much.

If you've been getting good results by this method, more power to you. However, I do not recommend this as good practice for beginners. Just my :2c:

Baditude, I've been shopping around looking to make sure of what I'm wanting to purchase a week from now (on payday..LOL) in regards to some various cartos and tanks. With your help and recommendations along with many others, I'm definitely getting a couple from IBTanked and probably one from Phiniac if they've got a design I like in stock..

And thank you for helping on the size with the Provari cartos.. I tried to get a rough estimate personally measuring them before reading your post and would have to agree on the 45mm.

You're one of several who've recommended the Ikenvape brand cartos, and I'm quite anxious to try them out, though my experience in all of this is REALLY showing through when I ask this next question.. lol. The website has me rather confused.. Under the 510 Punch series, they have the Fusion, Mega Fusion, and Platinum and Mega Platinum.. After reading product descriptions I'm guessing the Fusion and Platinum are the 35mm's and the Megas are the 45mm versions of each.. (technically it says 44.5 but...)

What's confusing me is the difference between the LR and STD in the listings.. I'm guessing its for Large and Standard?? But if so, what measurement is it exactly?? Is it the width of the cartomizer?? and if so, what are the difference in them?? Or well I guess just what is the difference in the two anyway seeing as I've no idea what they mean and I can't seem to find a variance in the product description to give me a hint as to what the difference is. Thanks again for ALLL this help man.. I would still be standing here scratching my head on so many things if it weren't for your help along with everyone else in the forums.

Side note.. had my first full day of vaping with my Provari today.. and all I can say is, I wish I had known the difference 6 months ago when I decided to upgrade from the cheap nasty convenience store brand to purchasing over the internet... LOL.

I blow through the tank each time I fill it this way, havent really noticed any issues.

The LR and STD in the listings are for Low Resistance (which arent recommended with a Provari) and Standard resistance. Personally I use 2.0 because I like a cooler vape but Ive heard good things about the 3.0 ohms as well. Hope that helps a bit.

I work in a mill. Everything is concrete and steel. A more destructive environment for a PV could not be imagined. I drop it on concrete from 6ft at least once a week. The Provari abides.

The heads, however suffer a much worse fate. For that reason I've gone to a cheap disposable dual coil carto.

Crystal Clear Vaping

When I break one off in the socket, or it starts to taste like my job smells, I load up a new one.

I get the 1.5ohm and run them around 3.9-4.2v depending on how it's tasting at the moment.
