Nice looking setup, my friend. :headbang:

Better luck with these cartos and tanks, I hope?

Loving them!! The ikv cartos are hitting amazingly. And I only ruined one punching them myself LOL!!

Much like Sawlight, I was too anxious to wait so just got the unpunched, but the Phiniac punch tool (despite the design being very similar to cheaper ones) I heard good things about so using it to punch them.

Even people who have despised the size of my Provari have been complimenting it. Looking at some of the other green tanks from IBTanked. Using their Tattoo acrylic caps. Though I'm SO tempted to just throw in a ZAP in with my order from Provape for a backup Provari just because like I mentioned before, vaping supplies are becoming more addictive that tattoos for me LOL!!

My ZAP will arrive tomorrow. I'm excited. My friend just got his new mechanical mod with a kick (lovely vapor and flavor) - I see a big vaping party in our future.

I have started up about 8 of my bulk-purchased 50 Boge SR cartomizers (with tanks). So far only 1 had an immediate, strong burning taste (I thought it was something I did wrong/different). At $1.20 each I wasn't too concerned. I hope it stays under 10% defective for the total in the brick. I wasn't aware of "Boge Gate" when I made the purchase.

How do you put a cartomizer that doesn't have the flare at the bottom to a tank? Like the boge xl 2.0 ohms. They don't have it but are recommended for the tanks but you have to puncture the hole yourself. Any idea or suggestions?

These I'm using don't really have much of a lip to catch them.

I've got the slap yo mama adapter that Baditude recommended that helps with inserting and the Phiniac fill tool to make that easier. I've just been careful not to push the threaded end up into the tank, which isn't hard for me because the poly tanks I have from Provape had to be slid up just a bit to allow for airflow, so just taking same precaution.

Though I will say, the IBTanked caps fit SNUG... Really really snug. Without those adapters and fill tool I doubt I could even get them in without ruining the o rings, so being such a tight fit, the lips really aren't a big necessity for me.. hope that helps some??

I'm not sure of the build quality or anything else of these... they are a bit pricey (and I'm guessing for their decorative value more than anything but could be wrong).. wanted to post the link in case no one had seen some of their stuff or had/had heard any opinions on the quality for them Sagewood Glass, Fine Art, Flawless Function. Some pretty fancy drip tips and whatnot in there

I'm using Prive Varadero tanks on my Prov and it works great! Even a bit pricey, but worth to own it :)

I've actually got the site bookmarked for those... very sleek looking tank that would definitely look good on a ProVari. The trouble I'm having with it is the same I had with the Punch series IKVs.. out of stock.. LOL.. very good looking tank though

I have learned a trick on punching the carto's, Finch!
LIGHTLY center punch them, then use a #1 center drill, http://www.sherlinedirect.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=42 to drill through the case. Works like a champ!

What sort of set-up do you have for drilling? I'm picturing some sort of mini drill press and vice grips. I can't see myself grabbing the Bosch and free-hand drilling a hole into a carto. Small hand drill (Dremel family)?

I haven't had any problems using a punch tool. Well, except the Depth Charge tank is such a tight fit that an even slightly misshapen carto won't allow me slide it through the caps. Their top caps pop off pretty easily though so hasn't been an issue.

The larger glass drip tips are some of my favorites that I own. I have a couple of Trippy Tips, several from Hot Vapes, and another from a relatively new glass tip vendor that I don't recall the name of at the moment. The larger glass tips make for a larger target for my mouth, and I can kind of relate to them like a pacifier... The glass tips are really beautiful, a nice way to top off your mod.

I don't care for the metal tips, they don't feel nice on the teeth. I do like the acrylic ming Cherry Vapes and plastic Knuckle Heads, too.

I find the phiniac tank to be the absolute best. I did pick up a glass tank from vermillion river for about $30 and I really like that one as well. The glass tank from VR looks pretty nice on the Provari it's stainless steel and quartz glass and will fit duel coil carts. I personally love a duel coil (2ohm) between 5-5.3 volts on the provari.

I'll keep that in mind.. I thought some of their bigger tips were very cool as well, though wasn't so sure about their tanks. Think I'll stick to IBTanked, and maybe get a phiniac as far as tanks go. I'm really enjoying the 3 I got from IBTanked. First agenda though is buying a backup Provari.. I know they're made tough and have a good warranty, but my luck I'll do something to screw mine up. I have some Infernos from Volcano that are 510 thread, but they don't kick out the power for anything I've got for my Provari. Might go with a mini just to have it on hand, but all depends on my mood when I get another LOL! I know they're releasing the v3 soon according to their site, but I'm honestly quite happy and content with the model I have.

Oh and thank you for the carry case recommendation, Baditude.. Working like a charm! have 3 batteries and 5 tanks in it now with plenty of room for the unit itself.

According to Provape's site they're out of stock on the ZAP again.. though I'm considering ordering one of the cheaper ones to see if I can even get the things going LOL! Once again though, I'm kind of saving that for a time when I find a really nice all day vape I can just sit there and enjoy using it with.

Oh and with you 100% on metal tips.. to me personally, I think of them kind of like beer cans. A bottled beer always tastes better to me than out of the can, similar to getting a metallic taste in my mouth from the metal tips

I suggest a Pyrex tank. There's a new site I got mines from and it's only $16.99 for a 3ml tank and $19.99 for a 6ml Pyrex tank. Here's the site:

505 VAPOR

the 3ml take the regular size boge correct? looks like a nicely priced tank. how long have you had yours and is it holding up well? loose or tight? i had a siam glass tank once that looked great but it was very loose.

Yeah definitely a sleek tank for the price... I'm not entirely sure what kind of glass IBTanked uses, Baditude pointed me towards them so would probably be able to answer that one.. but I'm really enjoying the ones I got, seem to be tougher than I would ever need as well. They have a clear glass 19mm XL for $5.. You purchase your caps separately but the acrylics like I got are only $12.50 and the stainless steel are $17.50..
