Red Rash on Face

Hi Everyone,

I have been vaping now for about 3 months and noticed this red rash developed on my chin and a few patches of it around my mouth. This started about 3 weeks in to vaping. At first I thougth it was dry skin rash from the cold weather but it wasn't. No amount of cream helped in fact the more cream i used the worse it looked. I have always had good skin with no rashes or acne. So it didn't make sense. Now I am wondering if it is coming from the eliquid juice. It has gotten a bit worse over the last month.


Anyway, i was wondering if anyone else had this experience. Also, any suggestions on what i can do. I hate to give up vaping.

Hello. What kind of e liquid are you using? Which flavors? Eucerin makes a thick cream called Aquaphor healing ointment. Maybe try some out. It would be quite sad if you possibly go back to smoking over this. Hope it clears up for you.

I am using the liquids from Smokeless Image. Mostly the tobacco, chocolate, and cinnabun flavors. They are the only liquids I have ever used since i started with their ecigg kit. I am already back to smoking a little because I wanted to see if stopping the ecigg is the cause of this rash on my chin and around my mouth and nose.

I was reading around here and maybe I have an allergy to the liquids. I am really upset becasue I was just getting to like the vaping and off the analogs. I don't know what else to do.

I had this happen from fire and ice(cinna flavor) this is what happend to me.....i had some leakage from my tank so i blew all the crap out of the connection,and some came out and got on my face.....burnt like hell,i washed it off and figured that was that.....the next morning i woke up and bam red spot and it was dryed plum out.......if u have got any on you face that could be it....I wash my hands after i get any ejuice on my hands even if i dont i still do just to be careful....did you get any one you? maby rubbed ur face after not knowing there was any on you hands?

It is possible that I did get someon my face by accident but the rash has been here for several weeks now. It is interesting that I am also vaping cinnabun a cinnamon flavored liquid. Maybe it is the flavorings I don't know. I have stopped vaping a few days to see if it clears up. So far it is a bit better. I am bummed though becasue I hate to quit vaping over this!

yes interesting indeed.....I say see if it goes away,then vape lightly.....clean you hands after you refill,even if u dont think u had any spillage...and see what happens for you,hope you can go back to vapeing soon
