This is my Native American flute (G min concert key). It's red cedar and naturally my photo is nothing like in person. The Bear token = courage, strength (and more).
I don't know if you've ever heard of R. Carlos Nakai (Lakota) his flute playing is OMG hauntingly beautiful (my last song post). I had mine made by his flute maker who was a Lakota elder. Sweet and very loving people. My favorite Lakota phrase is "mitakuye oyasin" which roughly translates to "we are all related".

I would have given You a Double Love for Yanni's "Love Is All" if I could have... that is one of my favorite songs, it never fails to bring tears of Joy and at the same time sadness, yet my tears are very healthy and balanced. They are ointment for my body, mind, heart and Soul.
I have that DVD. It was one of my Wife's favorites too.
...but wait, I can give You another Love, freely!!!

On this 19th anniversary of 9/11 my hope and desire, and simple prayer, for Humanity is we as a collective Whole would wake up from the slumber and illusion and realize we are One together. Always have been. We are far more alike than not. I know there are many who hold this realization Now, but we need so many More. Some think paradise, or heaven, is some far off place. I believe it is already within, and all around, each and every one of Us, 100% of the time.
When I look at our Earth from photos taken from space I see, and recognize, no borders or walls. I see a Oneness, a unified whole which was always Complete. Everything is dependent upon everything else. One only needs to observe Nature to realize this simple Truth.
To give and to receive Love openly and honestly is free. It costs nothing. Much can be seen, and known, with a simple honest deep look into the Eyes of another Human being, or critter. I see an eternal bond which runs deeper than the depths of Eternity Itself. We see Ourselves in the Other. I find real Joy in that.
When I wake up each morning, and before opening my eyes, I see before me a beautiful blank White canvas waiting for me to Paint the day with All that I have to offer. And I do my best to Honor my true Self. Some days the canvas has darker colors while others it has the lighter more pastel flavors and others a mix of those. At the end of the day I close my eyes to see what the day held. It's always in the abstract. Kind of like this...
And some days there may be just a couple strokes and blobs of color. Also each day when I wake up there is this very strong feeling, like a knowing, that "all is well". Even when the appearance is of the Other. Everything comes and goes, it's all ok.
Ok I've blabbered on with my musings enough for now. Sorry. Time for me to go and run some errands.

Carli....very good looking doggie When I was a pup we had a German Shepherd. I was told she would open up the gate, go around to the front of the house, and ring the doorbell, lol. Was also told, I would ride on her back. Just wish I could remember
