We escaped all of the dangerous stuff. ...barely (by about ten miles).
The I-35 bridge over the Red River was dang near wiped out by the highest water level ever. It was up to the bridge deck, 40-45 feet above the usual river level.
Well, at least the five-year drought is officially over...

By golly, I knew a news chopper would get some video.

Several hours after this, there was no longer a gap between the water and the bridge. at that point, they closed the interstate for awhile.
