There must be something we can eat
Maybe find another lover
Should I fly to Los Angeles
Find my ....... brother

Mickey mouse has grown up a cow
Dave's on sale again
We kissy kiss in the rear view
We're so bored
You're to blame

Try to see it once my way
Everything Zen
Everything Zen
I don't think so

Rain dogs howl for the century
A million dollars at stake
As you search for your demi-god
And you fake with a saint
There's no sex in your violence
There's no sex in your violence
Try to see it once my way
Everything Zen
Everything Zen
I don't think so

I don't believe that Elvis is dead
I don't believe that Elvis is dead
I don't believe that Elvis is, Elvis is

There's no sex in your violence

warm sun feed me up
i'm leery loaded up
loathing for a change
and i slip some
boil away
swallowed followed
heavy about everything
but my love
swallowed sorrowed
i'm with everyone and yet not
i'm with everyone and yet not
i'm with everyone and yet not
just wanna be myself
hey you said that you would love to try
some
hey you said that you would love to die
some
in the middle of a world on a fishhook
you're the wave
you're the wave
you're the wave
swallowed borrowed
heavy about everything
but my love
swallowed hollowed
sharp about everyone
but yourself
swallowed oh no
i'm with everyone and yet not
i'm with everyone and you're not
i'm with everyone and yet not
piss on self-esteem
forward busted knee
sick head
blackened lungs
and i'm a simple selfish son
swallowed followed
oh no i'm with everyone and yet not
got to get away from here
got to get away from here
i miss the one that i love a lot
i miss the one that i love a lot

I want you to remember
A love so full it could send us all ways
I want you to surrender
All my feelings rose today
And I want you to remain
The power of children can amaze
I'll try not to complain
I know that's a pisser baby

The chemicals between us
The walls that lie between us
Lying in this bed
The chemicals displaced
There is no lonlier place
Than lying in this bed

I want you to remember
Everything you said
Every driven word
Like a hammer, hell, to my head

The chemicals between us
There is no lonlier place
Then lying in this bed
The chemicals displaced
There is no lonlier place
Than lying in this bed

The chemicals between us
The chemicals between us
Lying in this bed

We're of the hollow men
We are the naked ones
We never meant you harm
Never meant you wrong
I'd like to thank
All of my lovers, lovers, lovers

The chemicals between us
The army of achievers
Lying in this bed
The chemicals displaced
There is no lonlier face
Than lying in this bed

The chemicals between us
The chemicals between us
The chemicals

The chemicals between us

I love these guys...........give it a listen:)

Never stop the car on a drive in the dark
Never look for the truth in your mother's eyes
Never trust the sound of rain upon a river
Rushing through your ears

Arriving somewhere but not here

Did you imagine the final sound as a gun?
Or the smashing windscreen of a car?
Did you ever imagine the last thing you'd hear as you're fading out was a song?

All my designs, simplified
And all of my plans, compromised
All of my dreams, sacrificed

Ever had the feeling you've been here before?
Drinking down the poison the way you were taught
Every thought from here on in your life begins
And all you knew was wrong?

Did you see the red mist block your path?
Did the scissors cut a way to your heart?
Did you feel the envy for the sons of mothers tearing you apart?

Another excellent tune by PT

Train set and match spied under the blind
Shiny and contoured the railway winds
And I've heard the sound from my cousin's bed
The hiss of the train at the railway head

Always the summers are slipping away

A 60 ton angel falls to the earth
A pile of old metal, a radiant blur
Scars in the country, the summer and her

Always the summers are slipping away
Find me a way for making it stay

When I hear the engine pass
I'm kissing you wide
The hissing subsides
I'm in luck

When the evening reaches here
You're tying me up
I'm dying of love
It's OK

As the cheerless towns pass my window
I can see a washed out moon through the fog
And then a voice inside my head, breaks the analogue
And says

"Follow me down to the valley below You know
Moonlight is bleeding from out of your soul"

I survived against the will of my twisted folk
But in the deafness of my world the silence broke
And said

"Follow me down to the valley below You know
Moonlight is bleeding from out of your soul"

"My David don't you worry
This cold world is not for you
So rest your head upon me
I have strength to carry you"

(Ghosts of the twenties rising Golden summers just holding you)

"Follow me down to the valley below You know
Moonlight is bleeding from out of your soul
Come to us, Lazarus
It's time for you to go"

You move in waves
You never retrace
Your newest craze
Straight out of the Face by the bed unread

I'm left behind
Like all the others
Some fall for you
It doesn't make much difference if they do

She changes every time you look
By summer it was all gone - now she's moved on
She called you every other day
So savior it it's all gone - now she's moved on

So for a while
Everything seemed new
Did we connect ?
Or was it all just biding time for you ?

Riding on a unicorn stranded in my mind
Electric raven met me there
To see what we could find

Strange days incredible days
Bring all my children to me
Strange ways incredible ways
On a dark stars endless journey

Endless remains of fading dreams
Lies stranded with the past
We climb up on the wind of change
We say "you know the jokes on you"

Strange days incredible days
Bring all my children to me
Strange ways incredible ways
On a dark stars endless journey

Strange days incredible days
Strange ways incredible ways

Have u ever been in Alabama and listened to Sweet Home Alabama? I have.:D But let me regress to tell you the whole story. It was the summer of '94 and my best buddy in college was having a party. (I was 13 years removed from high school before I went to college). We met this beautiful young lady attending Tulane University in New Orleans. She was home in NC for the summer staying with her parents.

She invited us down to stay with her during Mardi Gras in February of the following year. A lot of things are said while drinking adult beverages and most go in one ear and out the other. But we did get her number and never thought another thing about it until February of the following year. My buddy and I were eating pizza and drinking a beer at a local establishment when one of us mentioned Mardi Gras; it just happened to be the Wed. before Fat Tuesday of the following week. My buddy called her and got her voice mail... he left a message to tell her we were on our way. Within an hour of one of us mentioning Mardi Gras, we were literally on the road for New Orleans.lol

Whatever x it was in the morning, Sweet Home Alabama came on the radio while we were in Alabama. We both looked at each other and started laughing and asked the rhetorical question, "Have you ever been in Alabama and heard Sweet Home Alabama?" Yeah... I know... u needed to be there.:)

We arrived on Bourbon Street at 8am that morning. We gave her a call and she said she had been partying the night before and had class until 5pm. After traveling all night we needed a place to stay. Fortunately, I found a room at the Best Western on Bourbon Street. We partied for a couple of hours and crashed until about 4pm that afternoon. The rest of our time there is pretty much a blur. She did take us in for Fri-Sun. While we had to come back before Fat Tuesday, the time we were there was incredible. If you haven't been there, there is nothing like it... the food, music, drink, and fun.

So every time I hear Sweet Home Alabama, I am reminded of Mardi Gras.

p.s. I still have the pictures, about 80 of them, and still laugh about them today.
