Went to school with a guy who reminds me of the professor here. In our power lab we messed around with pretty big motors and generators using 1, 2, and 3 phase power at hundreds of volts. Our panels had really big jacks, cables and knife switches (like the kind in the Frankenstein movies, live, liiiiiive). Any way this guy used stand there next to the panel and wave his hands all over the place when he talked. The rest of us stood a little more than 2 arms lengths (his arms) away. That way when he finally got electrocuted, he wouldn't be able to reach us. He never did, so no one won the pool.....

Sorry for reminiscing but.... I had a Solid State Physics professor that was from Sweden. Do you remember the Muppets Swedish Chef? That is exactly how this guy talked. So he is up in front talking about really complicated stuff, and sounding like this Muppet. It was tough not to break out laughing.
