Hello all. My first visit to the first thread was just the other night. When I saw it was locked, I was a bit perturbed. I'm glad I looked to find the new thread. I can't say I went through the entire old one to see if this had been posted already, but it's the best song for when you've got my kind of insomnia.

Hello Insomniacs... just bouncing through to say hi and check out all the goodness: good tunes SD and Hypno, awesome image collection Redd, Krusty's once-in-a-decade sleetman , and at that pace the kitty will get to the center of the tootsie pop in about 30 seconds Dale . Winter is easy for SD this year... only has to use the fast plow these days it seems
Crazy weather in the south and east - hope everyone is doing fine. It's so nice here... I wish I could trade some of you for some winter weather.

Some of you know that I enjoy cooking (yep, seriously)... last year I really made a concerted effort to embrace the cuisine of New Mexico. I've always liked it very much, but never really endeavored to make any of the new and old traditional dishes. My mistake... there's actually quite a bit to make it right. For the most part I enjoy recreating authentic rustic/peasant dishes (I was and am still most interested in Italian) but I have a new found appreciation for the flavors of the Southwest.
