I'm glad I grew up when I did, best music era. The stuff today (for the most part) is really, really bad. IMO
A lot do... a lot also think that 'the way things used to be done' are better than the current way, despite logic or reason... but hey, that's OK most of the time!
I don't know when you grew up really... but yes, the 60's and 70's brought MANY innovations to music and will hopefully go down as some of the most influential decades for a very very long time!
