Just a quick "in and out" to say "HI" to all you night owls...

Kate Bush started her first concert series this week in London, in over 25 years. I wish I could be there, but buying a plane ticket across the Atlantic to see a concert just didn't seem like it made much sense--even though I SERIOUSLY considered it. ;-)

Anyway, here's a KaTe tune, for all you "Hounds of Love".

On Jeff Beck's 1999 CD "Who Else" the first track is titled "What Mama Said". There is a repeated sound sample of .... Shawn (as Sylvester) saying "Y'all hear what Mama said?". This line is from the scene where the men are all digging up the money under "The Big W". Beck did this as an homage to this film, as it is one of his favorite movies due in much part to its many crazy car stunts.
The tape loop of .... Shawn saying "Y'all hear what Mama said"? is from the 1963 movie "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World
