Good stuff here, I'll tell ya.........I need to get me some of them tweezers...I am now getting into the building thing and have picked up on a few things here & there while lurking and I believe I'm on the right track, just need to get the ohm's up, as the pv's don't seem to like it going under 1.2 and I would think keeping it up above 1.5 is the thing to do and to me I would think it would be even better above 2 ohms...does anybody think this makes any since, or am I 2 new to this & need to go back to coil building 101 but I'm usually pretty good at figuring things out in time and I've heard some things here from Krusty, Val, Wraith & Redd that are making since to me...any good ideas from anyone here and best places for ceramic tweezers, wire, etc? Any help and or ideas...deeply appreciated, Thanks!!! :) :vapor:

PS I love your body AVI Redd

As a noob rebuilder myself. I'm still learning the in's and out's. I think I have the coil wire down...NOW the wicking is something else,I seem to be hit or miss on that. I have been using this site to help me figure out how many wraps and the ohm's Steam Engine | free vaping calculators I think the most important thing is to get an OHM METER so you can see what you wrapped has come out to be. I can't speak for the others but when I do stuff like this I tend to be a bit ......... So I have a ton of TOOLS!!!! Here's what I drag out to build LOLView attachment 386839

u can also test ohms on a mvp or istick, but i do have a lil ohm reader to and ceramic tweezers

Jimmy I do follow the rayon thread...I just don't have it down pat yet. To much..To little. I'll get it. Last night I did a pretty good job, only one thing is being a PITA! I'm a Kinesthetic Learner so I have to figure it out myself. I can read and hear it all...but if i don't do it myself it doesn't happen. You really should see me building coils...LOL cause it's new and I'm pumped about it...I'm talking, dancing, wrapping, smelling and just about anything you can do with your body...well almost

Good Morning Friends!
Super Dave LOVE that song you posted...So here's one that came to mind.

Love that one and also this! :)

The look of love
Is in your eyes
A look your smile can't disguise

The look of love
Is saying so much more than just words could ever say
And what my heart has heard well it takes my breath away

I can hardly wait to hold you, feel my arms around you
How long I have waited, waited just to love you
Now that I have found you

You've got the Look of love
Is on your face
A look that time can't erase

Be mine tonight
Let this be just the start of so many nights like this
Let's take a lover's vow and then seal it with a kiss

I can hardly wait to hold you, feel my arms around you
How long I have waited, waited just to love you
Now that I have found you

Don't ever go
Don't ever go
I love you so

Looks pretty good. I suggest checking out the rayon wick thread... there is a lot more being discussed than just rayon... and he double insertion method is awesome.

You should see all the tools I brought on vacation just for coil building

That looks great Val and the rayon Jimmy, will check this out also and Redd, looking good with all of that and will check all this out and get much info for sure and thanks! Right now I'm just trying to keep it simple and get the basics, I don't want to get overwhelmed from the start!  :vapor: Oh & yes, I to am a person that has to get in there & do it myself to figure everything out but help in reading & helpful hints, along with learning the tools & supplies is so important and then like you say Redd, it will come down to the personal preference's and I sure love this, starting out new with this, I love trying to figure things out and mastering it to a point anyway! Thanks for everything you all and have a great day! :)

Talking about tweezers and stuff made me think of this, (not crazy though ) so I might just get me a pygmy pony & ride like a cowboy into the dawn of Montana with a pair of heavy duty Zircon encrusted tweezers in my hand & just do this! :vapor: Colorado can make ya do things like this! :)

I might be movin' to Montana soon
Just to raise me up a crop of
Dental Floss

Raisin' it up
Waxin' it down
In a little white box
That I can sell uptown

By myself I wouldn't
Have no boss,
But I'd be raisin' my lonely
Dental Floss

Raisin' my lonely
Dental Floss

Well I just might grow me some bees
But I'd leave the sweet stuff
For somebody else...but then, on the other hand I would

Keep the wax
N' melt it down
Pluck some Floss
N' swish it aroun'

I'd have me a crop
An' it'd be on top (that's why I'M movin' to Montana)

Movin' to Montana soon
Gonna be a dental floss tycoon (yes I am)
Movin' to Montana soon
Gonna be a mental toss flycoon

I'm gonna find me a horse
Just about this big
An' ride him all along the border line

With a
Pair of heavy-duty
Zircon-encrusted tweezers in my hand
Every other wrangler would say
I was mighty grand

By myself I wouldn't
Have no boss
But I'd be raisin' my lonely
Dental Floss

Raisin' my lonely
Dental Floss
Raisin' my lonely
Dental Floss

Well I might
Ride along the border
With my tweezers gleamin'
In the moon-lighty night

And then I'd
Get a cuppa cawfee
N' give my foot a push...
Just me 'n my pymgy pony
Over the Dental Floss Bush

N' then I might just
Jumb back on
An' ride
Like a cowboy
Into the dawn to Montana

Movin' to Montana soon
(Yippy-Ty-O-Ty-Ay)
Movin' to Montana soon
