Nice! I haven't been to CO in some years and I miss skiing and backpacking in the Rockies. I even lived in Denver before it spread all the way to the foothills and south to CO Springs.

Woa! According to the home page, if camping, "...no open flames of any sort, as in camp fires, camp stoves, and smoking." Does that mean you can't cook?! At least you can vape

I'm sure y'all have heard about the problem Colorado (and other western states) are having with wild fires.

The oil change guys were surprised with the luggage because the smart gives folks unfamiliar with the car the impression it is too small to carry so much 'struff'.

Well, I'm not due at the Nationals until tomorrow. I may drive to the summit of Pikes Peak solo today. A part of the group is planning to do that in a mini caravan after the event. I'll be a part of that too. I've got a nuddy in Colorado Springs I may look up as well ... haven't seen him since 1994.

Here's something a Floridian isn't used to. I'm in a 3rd floor room at this hotel. Looking out my window I see a 'hill' that TOWERS above my level. Florida is SO flat.

Wow, too bad the Panhandle hasn't had a post since my last post on the 8th, a couple of weeks ago.

I've had a two week vacation since then. I did a little travelogue, for anyone interested.

cool read your posts. I had to chuckle about the water bottles. Last year when I went out to Moab, UT we have about the same thing happen but in reverse, the 5 gallon fuel cans in the holder on the rear bumper sure didn't want to come out of there.

Yep . . . me too.

Was finally able to go on an overnight offshore fishing trip, but with all this rain, the Gulf is mostly dirty water. We did manage to get some Wahoo, though.

On the vaping front, I've been playing with the micro coil trend and loving it. I've put a micro coil on just about everything I have, including rebuilding a friend's T3. Got an IGO-W RDA in the mail while out and will build on it tonight or tomorrow. Can't wait.

Beware! Reading those micro coil threads can make you seriously want to buy a Reo mod if you don't have one already.

Ok, so there's not really a 'club'. But, this past weekend I attended the 5th annual OutSmarting the Dragon rally, held around the Tail of the Dragon, NC/TN. The Dragon is an 11 mile stretch of road on the southern boundary of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Of course we weren't limited to that 11 mile stretch of road ... we did drives around a 100 mile radius. One of the stops we made was a Tuckaleechee Caverns. That's where this photo was taken. Four vapers, all with mods, out of a group of maybe 70-80 people.

Sounds interesting. We'll just be getting back from Key West & will likely be a bit tuckered out. We usually make it to the last day of the Destin Fishing Rodeo, though.

hi ya ShortyK.. I'm over in Crestview and really don't get over to Pcola much - but I think there are a few folks from over there. There's a place on 9 mile road - juice and gear... I think it's listed in the thread.
We panhandle vapers seem to be spread out over a wide area.. couple bumps on the thread here might bring em in to say hi.
