Refills seem to burn hotter

Has anyone experienced what I have found...

My refilled V4L cartos seem to burn hotter than new pre-filled ones. I have refilled these originals about 4 times and all seem to burn hotter than new carts.

Perhaps this is my imagination. Am I over-vape dosing?

It depends on what I am refilling with. VG refills burn hotter for me but that is the nature of the juice I believe. Also, it is quite easy when refilling to accidently push the filament closer to the wall of the cart making it heat up faster.

I agree, I think it's because we are so impatient when refilling that we don't get as much juice in them?
I notice my refills don't last nearly as long as the factory filled ones either.

I have also noticed that I get better overall performance from factory cartos. They last longer, get more vapor and vape cooler. I save money on refilling, but actually prefer the regulars when money is not a factor.

Me to Maxx. I wish I could afford to use the prefilled cartos all the time

Ditto on using the pre-filled all the time. But re-filling, while it vapes hotter for me too, saves so much money in the long run!

I started out refilling... I haven't ever really used the pre-filled. I had to get a box on my last order though because they were out of the mocha frap juice. I was a little disappointed because the taste wasn't the same. Now I'm spoiled though The prefilled seem to last a lot longer keep the taste longer... vape right out of the gate.. besides the fact you can just grab a cart and go!!!!
I'm going to have to do a half and half deal...not do refills exclusively. Going to start buying more prefilled. I'm thinking it's worth the money. I've spent an hour today rinsing and refilling already and I still have a few carts to go... Blech!!!

Yeah....the cost saving is huge. Pre-filled cartos cost me about 4 dollars a day to vape, but refills cost about one dollar.

Still....both beat the $12 for real smokes.

Somehow, these dang pre-fills do last longer.

I have used the drop, wait, drop, wait method. I have dropped, spin, and topped off method. I have used the Cart Condom Refill method (w/ spin and top off). The syringe method with spinning, etc. etc. etc.

Refills just don't last as long AND burn hotter. Perhaps the juice we are using is slightly different than what is used in the pre-fills.

I think I am one of the few people around here that looked at improved health as a bonus. I got into this to beat the taxes and smoke nazis....LOL

I got sick of being an "outcast" in a country that I love. Peer pressure is an awesome force!

I also have tried a few tricks of refilling. Saw the videos and such. I even built a little tube on a string that I swing over my head like a centrifuge. Drip some, spin some...repeat, etc....

I am doing better on refills....but nowhere near the pre-filled.

I've actually had the opposite experience. My refills seem to last longer and vape better. Sometimes I overfill them and have to deal with the burning lip liquid syndrome. But I've been very satisfied with the refills. I've always felt the prefills had less juice than my refills. I may feel different after I try the new premium carts.

I must say, the spinning method of refilling works very well. I can get between 20-30 drops in a refill, and they last almost as long as a new, factory-filled cart.

Try the spin method Cari. Just drip 10 drops in the mouth end (with the cap and ring removed). Make sure the battery end is plugged. Drop it in any sort of bag (the case bags that Steve sends out with most orders are perfect) battery end first, and swing it around. It forces the juice down into the cart, leaving room for more drips. Repeat one or two more times, and you're set.

OK...I see where I might be doing something wrong. I stop at 20 drops. I do put in 10....spin...then ten more (no spin). Maybe I need to try and push a bit more in there....
