Are those ok no idea what a bridgeless atty is
I am going to order all my gear through empire. 23 bucks on a 357 to mess it up is a big hit 6 not so much.

Lol, yep it would suck to pop that $23 coil while you're learning. EM really has good atties, just as good as the premium Cisco and Ikens but a couple dollars cheaper. Yeah, bridgeless is fine, many drippers prefer them that way.

No matter what else I try, I end up dripping 95% of the time.

I started with an eGo-T. Within a month I had also bought a 510 kit, SR Boge cartos, LR Boge cartos, and finally SR 306 atties. At that point, I was in love! I dripped on SR 306 atties exclusively for the next 6 months.

Then I got a couple of bad batches of atties, from more than one source. From one source they were too airy and spongy. From another source they were only good for a couple of puffs before they got very hot without warning. Out of frustration, I started looking around for alternatives and tried all kinds of new stuff. I should have just tried ordered my 306s from other vendors instead.

I did learn a lot during that time. And, most of what I bought is still somewhat useful. The best thing I found during that search is the 510-t atty. It's comparable to the 306 in quality (to me anyway). And, it's a lot easier to drip with since it takes a 'normal' drip-tip.

All the rest is useful for when it's too inconvenient to drip or just for a little variety now and then.

I would be perfectly happy with what I have if only I were better at cleaning my atties. I used to change out and clean atties at least every other day. I've gotten lazy. If I run hot water through them and soak them briefly in alcohol every other day, they stay fairly ungunked (as long as I'm careful with what juices I use).

I've been letting my atties get gunked up and am now trying to ungunk them. I've just started using denture cleaner. It seems to be helping, I think.

I've never understood about dry-burning. I don't understand how you can see whether or not the coil is looking any certain way. How can you see the coil unless you have a de-bridged atty? Is there something I'm not understanding?

I was poking fun at me, thus the =) and LOL.

PV stuff changes so fast that it makes us all feel like noobs at times. =)

I'm seeing where a few of us are sticking to Joye attys. Someone mentioned VaporKings as a supplier. I use Electronic-Ash for under $5 per (in bulk). Kalamazoo Vapor liquidated their stock of Joye attys while selling them at $3.60 per recently... a great buy that I took advantage of. Any other deals out there on real Joyes?

The sale is on now! Joyetech 5 pack for $10.95 at Digitalciggz.com

Use ciggz10 for 10% off and also get free shipping with orders over $20.

I mentioned it a few times in the thread earlier, but I haven' gotten them any cheaper than at Digitalciggz.com. They are on sale now for a 5 pack of Joye 2.2 ohm for 10.95.

Yes, they are the real deal!

I have to say, flavor consistency is the one problem I have had with anything else, and that includes my RBA. I can make a tight coil and get amazing flavor on one juice, but none on another. I make a loose coil, poor flavor on the first, amazing on the second. I think i'm becoming a atty ...... I mean, in the past 2 weeks alone i've tried 4 different attys and am looking for more! I checked out the ones you suggested Mr. Mann, and really intrigued by the HH.

I just found out my local B&M just started carrying the shotgun atty accessory. So, i'm in the market for a lot of Joye or equivalent 510 attys ranging in resistance from low (for regular, single use) to high (for dual use). Anyone know of a vendor that has them at a decent price regularly? I saw Mr. Mann said Digitalciggz has them every now and then, but i'm looking for something more consistent.

Tulsa Electronic Cigarettes and supplies | Batteries, atomizers, cartomizers, e-Liquid and more! Joye 510 attys regularly 10 for $46.95 bulk price.

Ya know, I was hesitant to switch the thread topic and ask about deals. I'm so glad I did though.
Mister, you are the Mann!

Joye has always been a stickler for setting prices for vendors. Many vendors stop using Joye products because of that. That said, gotta wonder if some of these sales we are seeing are liquidation to make room for new stuff or if the vendors (Digital and Kalamazoo) are getting out of the Joye biz.

Anyway, great tip MrMann... time to shop. =)

Frankly, I've been wondering the same thing. Old school?, it seems so nowadays. I drip exclusively, hate carto's and tanks, and don't want to bother with another learning curve to try going the RBA route. I use Joye 510's @ 1.5 ohms, and DSE 901's @ 1.7 ohms. I buy them in bulk once a year from Vapor Kings. I usually have one of each going on different rigs.

I used Genuine Joyes for a long time...they are ok for a cheapo atty....
I have been direct dripping for 3 1/2 years....nothing compares to a HH357.....Huge vapor production with good flavor...Your Joyes will seem amemic compared to an HH357.....
I also prefer the small form factor and tight draw of a atty vs a RBA.......

Got an HH.357 here if anyone has a Joye they want to trade for. I'll take my 10 Joyes over this one HH. But seriously, I think the HH.357 is a good atty, but I don't think it is worlds better than a normal bridgeless atty, and as a matter of fact (my fact) I think it is not as good as most bridgeless attys. The HH.357 was one of the biggest let downs of all my ecig purchases. And yes, I know how to use it properly.

You can't actually see the coil so much, but you can see it glow if you dry burn in low lighting.
When I start my dry burns the coil takes awhile to start glowing and it usually only glows at one end.

By the time I'm done, after a couple of dry burns and rinses, the coil eventually glows from end to end.
I never actually see the coil, but the goal is to see the glow on either side of the bridge.

Again, low light is the key... and I do my dry burns in a bathroom with no windows.

Iffin ya don't yet have a taker on that offer............ ya do now! I'll have to dig thru my backup stash and make sure I have at least 1 genuine Joye but if not, press pause until I order from Digitalciggz, please.

Once again, thanks for your vigilance on that sale, you're a MANN of your word! :)

Notice the part about "But seriously?" 'Twas not 100% serious prior to that statement. LOL. But, I didn't forget you. Even if I don't follow through with something, I still never forget what I was supposed to do.

Oh, and I got caught up in being extreme (sort of). I should have not said the HH is not as good as most, just that I don't think it is worlds better than really good bridgeless attys. That is more appropriate.

Thank you! I will definitely give that a try.
