Hey all,

Hope this is the correct forum, wasn't sure.

I quit in May with no difficulty using e-cigs. Started with the VaporKing. Also used the Xhaler. Currently using the Defender from vapornine. Juicing with tastyvapor. All great stuff, love 'em. In the past month or so, however, I've been out having some pints and bummed smokes off someone. Argh! Ridiculous. They don't even taste good. My Vapor Kings died after two months, but I really liked them and the USB passthrough, so thinking about buying a whole new set. In other words, I like the long, cig style, mainly because with a drip tip I can clench it in my teeth.

Any advice on a 808 style cig looking manufacturer? Was checking out Greenworld from Nhaler, but kind of expensive. I need to order this stuff and ship it now before I keep acting the fool.

Thanks.

For a long thin one, I would get a 510 maga battery, ce2 xl carto, and a drip tip on the end. Should give you a long lasting battery, plenty juice holding and a nice lip friendy holder..and you could use the same equipment on an ego battery.

Why a 510 mega battery ? a KR8 mega is like an extra 100mah and it's the same size.

Well, depends. I know that V4L (and perhaps Kr808's as a whole) are going to noise-activated auto switches. So if you want an auto... the Kr808 used to be excellent with the vacuum switch, but no longer.

The 510's also have the same crummy noise activated switch. They're some of the worst auto's I've used, actually.

But if you want a manual, different story. If you want a manual, then I'd still go with the Kr808, although there are cheaper places to get it than V4L. Try LiteCigUSA.net.

So there are no vacuum switch autos around at a respectable price? That bums me out! I was going to add a couple because while I'm on the computer, I'm wishing I had something auto. I've been going back to my xhale sometimes just because I can let it hang in my mouth.

I gotten several kr808 manual and auto batterys from V4L (also juice) and I have never had a problem and like them alot, especially the xl manuals. They are the slim cigarette looking ones. I love them, lots of colors for both the carts and batterys. You can pick up a pretty good kit incl a pt (which is also great!) for much less than $100...
good luck!

I have the old-style auto Kr808 as well, with a vacuum switch, and it's great. Only goes off when I want it to. But I have read that V4L is going to noise-activated switches, because it's cheaper. And those suck. They go off all the time.

I don't know if all auto Kr808's are going that way. Maybe ask a vendor before you buy. But the noise-activated switches are awful.

The auto 510's have that switch as well.

It's unfortunate, but so it goes.

Damn, vacuum switches. I guess I'll have to ask if the thing is noise-activated or not. Where do you get C2 cartos? I must still be confused even though vaping for 5 months - the joye ego takes cartos and doesn't have to use an atomizer? My "defender" from vapornine looks like the ego, maybe it's a knockoff. Has anyone tried that greenworld one? It's kind of expensive.
