relatively new to vaping....

been a smoker for 20 years. and about a month and a half ago, decided to pick up one of the xhale o2 units at a local 7-11. love the unit. dont really like the refill carts.

learned some mods and care tips while lurking here. thanks for that.

but im looking for a better vaping experience. so hoping someone here can help out and/or point me in the right direction.

issues with xhale o2 unit:
=with the new carts, the bridge of the atty doesnt quite puncture the foil/plastic seal very well, so i shave off about 1mm from the opening of the mouth piece to let the bridge go further into the cart. took me a while to figure that one out.
=no matter what i do, somehow the liquid finds its way into my mouth eventually. it burns. and tastes like the first syllable of "association".

issues with e-liquid:
=so far only tried the "strictly e-juice" in the sample size 3ml bottles. really like the menthol freeze and the red bull flavors. but the quality of the juice is hit and miss. and now im left with a flavor that leaves me sick to my stomach.

so now im seriously considering purchasing a joye 510 and trying a different supplier of e-liquid, specifically in red bull (or similar) and menthol flavors. any recommendations that wont break the bank are greatly appreciated, since as im typing this im looking at my e-cig and i dont even want to touch it right now as it tastes so bad.

last thing i want to do is buy a pack of real cigs because i cant figure out what to do next.

When I asked this same question, I got a lot of recommendations for the 510 or eGo. I researched them both extensively, but since the eGo has such a good battery life, I opted for that. I received it four days ago and couldn't be happier. Easy to use, awesome throat hit and good vapor... everything I wanted in a PV. I might add that I ordered it on a Friday and got it the following Monday, including all the "extras" I purchased with my starter kit. I'd started out with a crummy product from a mall kiosk, so anything would've been an improvement, but thankfully I got one of the highest regarded ones out there. Of course everyone has their own opinions, but it's a start for you anyway. Good luck!

The 510 is pretty highly regarded, as is the ego. They have the same atty/cart connections, but the battery life on the Ego is much longer. The Riva is very similar to the Ego, and i really like my Riva. Long battery life (650 mA). You can get a Riva kit at http://www.vaporjunction.com/store/.

im into the same flavors as well......I have a BLU so cant compare as far as PV but have a 510 in the mail on way to me......but as far as juices all the menthol flavors from freedomsmokeusa are very good. They also have a redbull flavor that isnt so bad. also with them you get great customer service......

thanks for all the replies so far. i ended up getting the $65 510 kit from cignot that comes with the PCC and two of each (got the matte black with red LEDs). i decided im going to try to take baby steps on this. it seems that the 510 is real popular and havent really heard of any bad things about it. and if i need to in the future, ive got my eyes on that eGo.

what is the general consensus on the quality of the e liquid coming from cignot? that package i got also came with some 5ml sample bottles (i got menthol and red bull, duh) so i guess ill see soon. but i guess im looking more toward consistent quality of the liquid, since, if i like it i'll be ordering larger vials.

When people talk about awesome juices, I rarely (never) hear cignot come up in the conversation. But I haven't tried their juice so I can't say much else about it.

well just a quick review... not on the 510 though. its reputation speaks for itself. but the juice from cignot that i got as part of the package. i received 5ml each of 18mg menthol and 6mg redbull (the strengths were the only options).

the 18mg menthol has a nice cool menthol flavor to it but its got a hint of that same taste that was turning my stomach over with the stuff i got from strictly e juice. still smokable however. and im sure ill be fine with finishing off the bottle.

the 6mg redbull tastes pretty good. but a little too smooth. i get just about zero TH unless i inhale straight to my lungs, which i dont really like to do. im not complaining though. but because the nic level is so low, i find myself hotboxing a little more with the redbull.

overall satisfied with the purchase of this package.
