Removeing parts from a 510 battery pack

From what i have read they suggest you take an old atty ( one that is dead ) and screw that into it then wiggle it around to help break the adhesive seal, if it doesnt break loose you may have to heat it a little, then, with a good pair of pliers, pull on the atty until it pops out. Mind you i have never done this, this is just me remebering what i read.

a 510 is a little harder than that :( Then connector is quite long and securely fixed.
Best way i've found is to cut the battery case with a dremel, longways, then use pliers to split it. Take care to remove the inards from the bottom end first and be careful not to cut into the actual connector

Nerf (a valued member on here) sells the connectors for a very reasonable price. Once the modding bug gets hold of you there will be very few "old batteries" left to disect, as you will hardly be using them :)
