I've had my Reo Mini for about a week now and my Grand I just got today. I must say for starters that I have had a very large handful of mods ranging from tube mods to box mods. Of all of the mods I have had, these two are my favorite. They can also handle atomizers as well as cartomizers and I am currently using dual coil cartos on mine and I love the rich flavor and thick vapor that you get from a constantly wet carto. The simplicity of the internals paired with the feeder system make these mods the last ones you will ever own.
For starters, The Reo Mini:
Battery- 14500, 700 to 950 mah
Juice capacity- 3 to 3.2 milliliters depending on how full you fill the bottle
Atomizer Connection- 510
Adapter Friendly- Yes, Tried 801, 901 and Ego
Catch Cup- Large enough to catch some over squeezing on the feeder bottle.
Feed System- A small flexible hose leading from the bottom of the bottle to the bottom of the atomizer connection
Fit and Finish- Anodized Aircraft Grade Aluminum, Two Custom Molded Delrin Parts
Internal Space Management- 95% Efficiency, Very Little Space Wasted (Based on Tube Mods)
Built In Safety Features- The spring will collapse if the battery fails(go protected!), and the switch will lock
Now down to the my opinions on the Mini:
Given the small size of the mod paired with the small battery and juice bottle, this is a great mod for someone with smaller hands or someone who is desiring a small easy to hide pv. The only downsides to this mod are.... Well nothing as far I can see. The finish is well done and the weight of the pv is mostly comprised of the battery and juice bottle. When paired with a LR atomizer or a Dual Coil Carto, this is one powerful vape machine. I give this mod a 10 out of 10.
Next, The Reo Grand:
Battery- 18650, 2000 to 3000 mah Or 5v nihm 600 mah Or 2x 3.0v batteries for 6 Volt vaping (not recommended)
Juice Capacity- 6 to 6.3 milliliters depending on how full you fill the bottle
Now down to my opinions on the Reo Grand:
I have loved 18650 batteries since I got my first big battery mod. The absolutely insane battery life pair with a six mil juice capacity make this an all day and all night into the next day mod. Even using a power and juice hungry 1.25 ohm dual coil cartomizer, I am still getting two days of vapage out of this unit. From watching video reviews, I was under the impression that the Grand would be huge but in fact it is very comfortable to use. The finish on the Grand is the same as on the Mini: Amazingly well done. I again give the Reo Grand a 10/10.
In Conclusion:
When I buy a product from a vendor, I expect fast shipping, a quality product and good customer service in the event that I might need it. From Reos Mods, I got all three. Anyone who is interested in a good quality bottom feeder mod should give serious thought to purchasing a Reo. I have been through all the cart mods from the teabag to the straw mod and I've seen my fair share of dripping and tank mods as well, and nothing comes close to these mods. You get the great flavor of dripping without always having a bottle in your hand and a napkin in the other in case of over dripping. There is also no burnt flavor once you catch on to the very small learning curve. Unless someone comes out with a new revolutionary device, I don't see myself buying another pv unless it is another Reo of course... My Ego's and my box mods that I've made are all now safely stowed away in an old cigar box in my dresser and I get the feeling that is where they will stay until I feel the need to break them out for some nostalgic vaping.
Tips and Tricks:
You might want to put a small tab of tape stuck together on your batteries to make them easier to remove unless you have long fingernails. Also, if you find that your door or juice bottle tends to rattle, put a small strip of tape at the bottom of your door and your rattle is solved. As far as the bottle rattling is concerned, just pull the tube out of your bottle a few millimeters to create some tension between the bottle and the bottom of the mod where the bottle sits. Also, for those of you interested in using 901 atties, go to your local Farm and home and find an "O" ring that fits snug around your atomizer and position in so that the o ring is just below the air hole and the opposing side is slightly higher so that the juice will stay on the o ring and gravity will keep it where you need it for your next drag.
Thanks for taking the time to read my lengthy review and I hope it helps you to find your vaping nirvana.
