Happier times. Four Kitties jammed in One bed.
The only Love Bug in this pic that is still with me is Whiskey. He's the boy in the middle with the Red collar. He turned 16 April 1st.

My pets eat 2 gallons of sugar water a day. 5lb bag of sugar every 4 days  (I have 8 feeders, each holds a pint and they empty them every 6 hours. I would guestimate conservativley that there are ~200+ that have been here since May. Soon they'll be headed south but first they are stocking up on all the energy they can get. Needless to say it sounds like a scene from Apocolypse Now in my yard all day long.... Amazing how much noise these little suckers make fighting non-stop!

A couple of my pets. The baby I have seen everyday since it was born. It stays in one of my hay fields all day long. Its Mom, and 3 other does will walk up and feed within 50 yards from me while I'm outside working. I've whistled at them, yelled at them, and they look up at me "like wth do you want?" and go right back to feeding  (They better get smart FAST! Hunting season starts here this comming Saturday.)

Otherwise known as "Micro Nano Mastiff." I know so many people who have Fawn English Mastiffs and Pugs. Love Pugs to "death" but they aren't tough enough for our environment and pack of wild and rowdy rough/tough Bubs. (The Cattle Dog Girls, Blue Heelers, are working farm bred, and their Dingo heritage is so predominant!!!!! I wouldn't think of subjecting the Pugly Angels to our challenging environment. Otherwise we would have several!!!!!)

Hugs, Alice

He is certainly a beautiful boy!! We just saw an episode on Dogs 101 about special high energy dogs or special working dogs, or one of those that spotlight certain groups of dogs. One was a three legged Aussie Frisbee Dog. She even placed in top 10 international competition; three legs!!!!!! She can't do AKC competition because of rules about intactness of dog, which is a real bummer. I had a fabulous obedience Mastiff that was born with a slightly deformed front paw. It didn't affect his work at all but he had a very slight limp, only at a walk; enough to keep him out of AKC competition. Alice
