How far does the button have to be pushed on everyone else mini? I'm talking just to hear it click on?
Mini may just need a bath then. Button just seems tighter then normal. It largely depends on what kind of battery you are using and the state of cleanliness of the mod. Flat top batteries require a deeper plunge than the button tops, for instance. IMRs take a little more than the protected batteries. More dirt and grime in the delrin cover will make the button harder to push...so the occasional cleaning can fix that.
The best way to find that out is to hold your mod by your ear and press the button gently until you hear it fire. Then try to duplicate the amount of pressure needed....that way, you shouldn't find yourself mashing the button.
Also, keep in mind that it is very common that when a battery has gone through its charge, its performance drops. Many of us inadvertently press the button harder as if that will make the battery perform better. I assure you, it does not. I hope this helps.
Work it up and down huh? LOLWhile running your mod (sans battery, atty & juice bottle) under very hot water, work that button up and down. It should get easier if dirt/grime was the cause. You can also drizzle alcohol over/through the button while working it up and down.
I should have them any day. I hope by the end of the weekDidn't I read on here somewhere that you're coming out with a replacement button for the reo? Is that true? My Mom wants a Reo but has trouble with her hands.
And do those buttons sell separately? Or would I have to order another reo? If they do sell separately are they easy to install?
Yes, they are made to fit ALL metal REO's. They will sell separate as an add on.
