The RM2 is hands down one of the easiest rdas to rebuild. Very forgiving, almost idiot proof. Not much of a learning curve and no need for constant fiddling around.

Ok, I won't say anything else in that sense. I do respect people's choices and may have been irritating to Reo owners. It's a nice mod, well built and has a good support system. I do see the finer points of owning one due to this thread. Thank you.
Do you think dripping was invented along with the RDAs? No, dripping has been around a lot longer. You can drip/squonk with any atty. For that matter, a REO with a carto is like having a carto-tank without having to add a big old tank and worry about keeping the air pressure just right.
Now, for clearomizers there may not be any point in having a REO. But, clearomizers have so many issues already.

No need to convince me, I've been using a regular atomizer carrying a bottle around everywhere for over 3 yrs until I started researching things a year ago. Stacked CR123's had been my only system for a long time.

You support my point that the wonderful nature of the growing vaping market is that there certainly is a product category or device that is our personal own "best" setup. It sounds like you have found yours in the mech/dripping combo. It really is a good feeling to have found your perfect match. Many of us have our own, and are proud and willing share our products' accolades and give advice, should one ask.

I'm so used to defending the 'vari in these threads I think I jumped in to defend the Reo on pure reflex!
I've owned many, many mods. Mechs, VV/VW, you name it..I've tried it. I still think the Reo is the best mod I've used. The durability, reliability, portability and many other things can't be matched in my opinion. Rob's CS should be what every vendor strives for.

No, I have 2 Provaris, a regular and mini mainly for on the go. Love them, but don't think it's the "end all" mod either. I mostly use mechs at home and in certain instances outside the house including outdoor sports and activities.
Question on the Reo, which i dont mind the price. Would this mod be a feasable choice to go camping/kayaking with? And if so what would a really durable dependable atomizer be to go along with this?
Reo would definitely be durable enough to go camping with. Kayaking, I'm not sure, as it's not waterproof. Batteries generally don't like water. That would be my only concern.
Durable/dependable atomizer? Really depends, most of them are pretty durable.
Various rebuildables are fine, but if you wick it with cotton, you may need to suddenly rewick them, if you burn the cotton by mistake.
As far as non-rebuildable ones, I really liked Cisco's 306es. They last a good while, and are very easily replaced. I'd recommend bringing a few spares with you just in case.
I did find shorty cartomizers to be much cheaper, and provide almost as good a vape as little atomizers. If you go that route, I would also recommend bringing a few spares with you.

I think a regular mech like a Nemesis could be used for kayaking. I've dropped my mechs in the ocean before and just washed it off with fresh water without a problem. Still was good to go - although I couldn't say the same for the atomizer. I live by the ocean so that's why I take mechs with me to surf, fish, spearfish, camping, etc. My biggest issue I had with my system was keeping the sand out of the atomizer because there was a lot of sand in my pockets. I hated that - now I put a condom on it after every use and stick it in a fanny pack. Yes, I said fanny pack LOL - it's been working out ok.
I kayak fish every week. I use an eGo T Upgrade (ran unregulated) with a Evod. I put it on a lanyard. Depending on the weather it's either tucked in my splash jacket or just hanging on my neck. It's a cheap setup and if I end up in the drink I haven't lost much. At least not in e-cig gear.
well not so much kayaking..but if the occasional splash of water. i know pretty much anything that gets dropped in will be toast. Lol thx for the link.
