I slip the door up, after squonking, to watch the bubbles in my juice.
It makes me happy.
:D:D:D

Plus, you can raise the door just to hear the satisfying "SNICK" as it drops back down into place. That doesn't work if you slide it down.
:(

Oh, and also, THAT LOOKS FREAKING BEAUTIFUL.
I LOVE the shape!

I never understood why that could matter . The door is suppose to be pulled out the bottom of the mod . I have given it some thought make the 510 off center so the door will slide up seems strange to me . If some that want it this way could convince me why its a good thing I can certainly move it so the door will slide up with a 22 mm atty

That's exactly how I roll, too.

I can live without sliding the door up, but I DO love that a 22mm atty wouldn't hang "over the edge" like it does on a Grand.

I might hafta have one o these!!!

It looks like it will be great for my 22mm attys. I love my Grands, for smaller attys, like the Nuppin or RM4; but I don't care for the look of 22mm attys on them. At this point, I only put 22mm attys on my Woodvils.

I am still in the testing stage this is by no means a finished product I still have some work to do on this mod .
Your grand doors will work with this mod .I thought I would share with you folks were I am at with the project . The on off switch is not built in the button on this mod I don't have it installed as of yet . The button is delrin I may end up with a aluminum button still not sure.

Love the rounded sides!
Hubby loves the side button!
Love the idea of our current doors fitting too!
Awesomely done!!!!

I'm glad you finally getting rid of the pin in the button, off function, so many times I go to take a hit and the button has rotated slightly and the pin hangs up, and I need to turn it to fire the mod. This will be a huge plus for me!

I like the rounded ends/sides, it looks very comfortable for the hand. I really love that you removed the firing pin away from the positive battery terminal ala the latest Woodville contact style. This is going to be one SOLID SQUONKING beast!

Looking good Rob...

:2c:

Keep the 510 centered. Reo doors slide down, not up. Those that use 22mm atty’s are already used to that, and I doubt the majority of them care about sliding doors up. The trade off is not worth it.

On/off in fire button something like the new Woodvils, maybe a better design, without a separate on/off switch like old Woodvil’s, etc. If you have to do separate, make them internal rather than cluttering the lines of the mod with an exposed switch.

An aluminum button mechanism would be more sturdy than all Delrin for those who drop their Reos regular. But ideally so button colors can still be changed same as before on top fire/new Woodvil’s.

18650, maybe 18490 versions, don’t need/won't buy bigger batt versions.

Higher capacity bottles would be real nice (9-10-12ml).

SL version has some real possibilities (slotted/drilled narrow sides only appeals to me the most though).

I too am fine with the more boxy old design, or something closer to the radius of the new Woodvil’s would also work well for me, but I could live with your right handed design as well.

You already know my color/finish choices.

LOL just when I thought that my 7 Reo Grands were enough you go and make this Rob

Nice job, I like it a lot and it looks like the natural progression to the classic Grand. :thumb: Kudos for the flush 510 as well as the side fire button.

PS. I agree 100% with you on the door issue. Never understood why it should be removed upwards, it's kinda criticising for the sake of criticising.

Doubt I would get one for under a camera use haha, not that popular. It looks absolutely gorgeous though. I never understood the problem people had with 22mm atty's and the door. I usually slide my door just to hear it hit the bottom of my Odin. It's as addicting as clicking a pen :p The side fire bottom is amazing, I can use my trigger finger to fire it instead of my thumb. I've put other mods up for sale, had other ideas with the money, but may need to save that money if they sell for this one.

I did have a few questions I didn't see mentioned throughout this thread unless I missed it.
- This will be as durable as the other metal Reo? Mine goes through quite the beating. It'd take me forever to count as many times as mine has hit tile or concrete, but no hockey sticks :)
- I assume sub ohm contacts? 0.3 - 0.4 ohms is my range for an enjoyable vape.
- Any chance for a bigger bottle? As time goes on, about 10 months with a Reo now, that is my biggest complaint to this date. 3ml doesn't get me to lunch time. I end up filling mine completely twice a day and topping it off a 3rd time to make it through the night.
- Will this be more suitable for flat top batteries or built around the AW? I know people run flat tops on Reo's, I'm one of them, I also run the AW button tops.

That looks super @redeyedancer
I love the rounded edges and it must be very comfortable in the hand
I support the 510 remaining in the centre

Definitely will want one of these. Raw tumbled for sure

Just a question, how does the voltdrop under load compare to the current metal Reos given the new switches and internals?

EXCITING!! I can almost feel it in my hand! Really dig the smooth, curved lines!

My vote would be to be able to use the same batteries (18650's) as I do for my other Grands. I also use 18490's for my Mini & Woodvile 18490. Since it's all about ME, please don't make me keep track of a 3rd size

I'm also fine with the Grand size bottle but if there's enough interest in larger bottles, so be it....as long as the mod doesn't have to get larger to accommodate it. Because why? Because it's all about me......

Oh yeah, while we are on the subject of ME, I'm hoping that this beautiful piece of art would be no larger than a Grand. I also would like an easy on/off mechanism. I put mine in my front pocket between Vapes and would like to be able to turn it on/off quickly and with no fuss or muss. (Don't tell anyone, but I never turn my Grand off/on but I know I'll need to with a side button)

Seriously Rob, thanks for posting this amazing looking mod. Looks like Reoville is still alive and thriving! Hope you are having as much fun creating it as we are dreaming about it.

Awesome!!! Looks to me like it will fit a larger juice bottle :)

Yeah I see a couple of holes near the positive post for the battery.. is that for the on and off switch? Something that maybe slides over the top of the battery to break contact? Love that! That's the one thing that's been plaguing me for the past 5 years is that the button always moves just enough to lock!

Will be buying 2 (money willing).

SL would look killer!

Tumbled for me!

Oh and i'm sure i'll have no prob lifting my door if needed as I'll be using small attys. :) Going up is easier to just check the juice level without removing the door. But please keep that 510 centered!
