Don't know where this year went, but as they say, the older you get the faster time goes, and for me they are flying by.
jup.....but even when my son was in HS time flew by for him. I think a lot of it that we're just wayyyyyy busier than when we were young. We didn't run around like chickens with our heads cut off so much.Don't know where this year went, but as they say, the older you get the faster time goes, and for me they are flying by.![]()

that's it? Wow, where did this year go?
The safest way to eliminate the minimal voltage drop from the spring would be to solder the spring were it is riveted together .You would gain back that almost unnoticeable drop and retain the safety of the spring . I will never make a mod without a spring its not worth the risk .
What I can do is make some of these springs up for people that want them . The only problem I can think of is what to call them
Done a little test on the soldered spring ideal.
Used an older Grand with gold contacts and spring "non adjustable 510"
Charged AW 2200 mAh 18650 battery @ 4.19 volts .9 ohm coil.
Soldered the crimp on the bottom as well as where the spring makes contact on the top side.
Paint removed where spring plate contacts the mod, every point of contact to the mod and spring was cleaned with Deoxit cleaner followed with Deoxit gold.
Two 2 second test lowered the battery to 4.18 volts so that was calculated in the second test with the soldered spring so nothing was changed.
I got 1/100th of a volt difference!

Hammer tone will be one of the colors I will use on the P 67s . Keep in mind the grand doors fit this modWill it come in the varied physical textures as the current? I lake the "hammered".
I wonder what SL designs are being cooked up in the Modmaster shop?
I'm kind of fond of this mod by Eddie Adams.I wonder what SL designs are being cooked up in the Modmaster shop?
