Rob since you seem to have started production can you show us any updated pix? You stated in the OP that "this is by no means a finished product". I am curious to see the final version, specifically what you have come up with for the on/off switch.
I don't have any updates to show yet . I will soon I am running the positive plates for the mod almost ready to drill and tap them and send them off for the gold plating

LOL, yep - I was just googley-oogling trying to figure out whether P67 might be in homage to something, but I don't think Rob's ever really said what it means...
Is P for Prototype? Project? or Porcupine?
Pretty sure it's still a mystery...

That was Train2 responding to a post from dbrandt01, not from Rob.... This was the post... Reo P 67 prototype

I backed away from the resin for the time being . Resin like plastic can melt High heat plastic like I use in the buttons can handle a dead short many times over but you take a guy vaping a .3 ohm coil that doesn't maintain his contacts and the heat will build to a point it will cause damage to resin even high heat plastic
Why I never picked up a resin.

vaping @ 0.2 ohm has its down side.

Never picked up a woody because I don't currently have time to treat them right. Maybe after I retire and move all the kids out.

Hey, did you ever reveal why you chose to call it the P67?

I'm going with the "far out" idea that P-67 refers to a 1967 precision bass that Rob might own?

I'm probably "way off the mark" though...

Thanks,

Norman

see, that's how rumors get started lol thanks for correcting, I could have sworn I recalled Rob saying that, then others commenting, but I often mix things up. I think Train was wearing a porky costume that day and got me cornfoozled hehehe

The neck profile perhaps?

Now we're getting somewhere (or just making stuff up! HA!) but yeah, the neck profile would be "rounded" on the back and "flat" on the front; just like Rob's prototype.

It would make sense and Rob's a player but it's pure speculation.

Thanks,

Norman

Yes, I know. It can be quite a distraction.

Thinking of getting this instead.

Or maybe go minimalist?
