I set up my rda's for about 1.4 - 1.5Ω's. Battery life is pretty good there.
Hey! Ugly brown??!!?? These are my new favorites. Ha. They match my Woodvils much better than orange or turquoise.....just sayin'. HahahaI've got 6 new ugly brown LG 3000mahs that I've been using magnets on for the metal reo.. woodvils no issue with flat tops!
And yes I've seen them arch on the metal reos and I stay at 1ohms.
Why exactly are you running a magnet on the battery? Mine work in my grands just fine without a magnet... I tend to run mine in the .3Ω neighborhood and depending on the atty as low as .2Ω... No magnet needed...I've got 6 new ugly brown LG 3000mahs that I've been using magnets on for the metal reo.. woodvils no issue with flat tops!

Are you using Noalox or De-Ox-it.Personally I don't like it but I've checked in the dark without the magnet recently and I could not believe it arched when I vape at 1ohms.. people have always stated that arching is more prone to happen with sub ohming.
got my 25 frickin dollar bottle of deoxit gold comin tomorrow - better be worth it. LOL
i figure itll last for a long time, and i read i can use it on speaker stuff and guitar stuff and ram slots and a whole bunch of fun stuffI just got the little 2ml tube, but it's still enough for a long time the way I use it...
This tiny little things like $8...

I'm still using Noalox with flat tops, no magnets. I've sat in the dark, looking for arching.
I just don't see any, at .5-.4ohm.
Was just wondering if I should spend the money on De-ox-it?
Obviously 2 reasons which were talked about a few months ago when someone brought up the new brown LG 3000mah batteries.
1. The contact bends that much further to make contact with the battery. Bend it thst far plus if your a button masher could end up with a snapped contact sooner then later.
2. For some reason flat tops arch more then button.. different metals? Or just a lighter contact may be the blame for the arching.
Lighter contact will happen cause your already pressing it further then normal with a flat top battery.

You might want to put in new springs in your devices if you have a problem with the pin not reaching the top of the battery to make good contact... Mine are very snug fitting against the delrin block and they fire very easily. I run as I said, in the .2Ω-.3Ω range and have no problems with arcing. I do use De-Ox-it pretty regularly as well.
I have found since switching my atty's out to ones that were designed for bottom feeding, (O-16's and Nuppin's), has made all the difference in my vape and has eliminated arcing. I no longer run any atty's that were modded, either by myself or Tom at CAM.
I also have specific batteries, (all HG2's), that are designated for certain devices that I have. Each battery has a different color wrap designated for which device it is for. I did this specifically to test for arcing in my devices and between the new atty's, batteries, and De-Ox-It I have eliminated arcing.
What is an o 16?

It's an atty - the Origen 16mm. The same manufacturer also makes a 22mm atty by the same name.
