I wanted to share my thoughts on The Reo Woodvil that is currently for sale at Reo's mods. reosmods.com

I've been vaping since October 3, 2009 and I've done a few reviews here on this forum. Mostly they have been for Reo's Mods. And, here's the reason why...It's the best. Period. I've tried alot of mod's , too many....and These are the only mod's that have continued to satisfy my needs.

Ok..on to my review.

First off, Robert is the master craftsman of the Reo's Mods. He first came out with the Larger Wooden Reo, then the Mini aluminum, followed by the Aluminum Grand, and now the Reo Woodvil, which is a masterpiece.

The Reo Woodvil

Specifications & Facts :

1 ) All wooden Design
2 ) Measurements: 3 5/8 tall x 2"wide x 1" depth
3 ) Uses 1 x 18650 battery
4 ) 6ml bottle for your juice
5 ) Uses 510 / 306 Atomizer or Cartomizer
6 ) Super Clean
7 ) It will vape you into a coma

This is my 1st Reo Woodvil. I've named him Hank. Hank is a beautiful Oak Woodvil with a Zebra Door.

Here's a picture of Hank next to my silver Mini Reo ( her name is Lolly )

Here's a better larger photo of my Woodvil ( Meet Hank )

Isn't he beautiful ? Just look how clean he is everywhere and even inside..no gunk, no glue...pure awesomeness :

Now, the good stuff :

What makes the Reo Woodvil so unique from every other wooden mod out there is...the body is made from one hunk of wood. Carved into this beautiful mod. Nothing glued or snapped together. Nothing to come apart or break away if you happen to drop it. Believe me, I drop things on a regular basis and this mod is built to last. It's super strong, super sturdy and the only other piece to it is the door that slides on with ease.

The Reo Woodvil is a bottom feeding juicer. This means there's a small clear tube running from the atty fitting to the bottom of your juice bottle. The well is sealed tight, you just screw your atomizer or cartomizer into the well. No need to turn it upside down or sideways or shake it or whatever else to feed it. A gentle push does the trick :) No needle stuck up thru the device that you have to struggle to get an atty or cartomizer over. It simply feeds by pushing ( or squonking) the bottle. No leaks, No aggravation. No dripping, No filling carts. Easy Peasy..and it vapes beautifully.

Here's a picture from the top showing you the atty well. This is the connection for the atomizer or cartomizer.

The Woodvil uses a single 18650 battery and holds a 6ml bottle of your juice. This battery lasts me all day long and I really mean ALL DAY long.
I usually change the battery when I'm headed to bed, so this battery charge should last most people all day unless you're a chain vapor, then you might possibly need it charged another time. I consider myself a regular vapor and this battery gets the job done for me on one charge per day.

The 6ml bottle will last awhile too. I usually carry Hank and my Mini Reo with me everywhere I go and I usually only fill the Woodvil every other day. So the 6ml should last a normal person vaping all day or most of the day.

I've become attached to LR attys on my Mini Reo ( Lolly) but Hank here really goes well with cartomizers so thats what i usually use on him. I vape a strong peppermint in this mod and I've found using the cartomizer you don't have to squonk ( push ) the bottle near as much as with using atomizers. What you use is entirely up to you, but the Woodvil works wonderful with either.

I've had 5v and 6v mods...and I liked them,, but I swear, I get as much vapor out of this 3.7 volt device as I did with the others. This Woodvil hits like a Mack Truck. With a LR atty....there's nothing better. I always thought with 5 and 6 volts the flavor was pretty much lost anyway, but with this Woodvil, I dont need any more voltage than 3.7. Check out some of the video reviews, you will see how much vape this baby puts out. Vaping yourself into a coma is possible...done it...

Ok.i need to mention something there. Squonk. Squonk means push the bottle. This super great lady who owns some Reo's came up with this lovely word for pushing the bottle to feed the juice into the atomizer. Her name is Jack Murray and if you ever visit the Reo Sub Forum here you're likely to see Jack post. She's awesome and I love her to bits. You will too if you ever see her posts.

The Reo Woodvil....Simply wonderful. No Mess, No fuss, No filling carts, No dripping unless you want too. No carrying around tissues all the time to clean up your mess. I hated that. Hank is a great size mod, fits very nicely in my hand and I have small hands. This mod is perfect for anyone to use. I love the side horn switch, it's easy to push and usually i vape and use my thumb to squonk and push the button.

One of the best things about Reo's mods...they are super clean. You can't get over the cleanliness of this mod. There's no glue or gunk anywhere...he even has a recessed area for the one wire that goes from the on/off switch at the bottom to the switch on the side.

The master craftsman of these beauties is Rob...I call him Robert, and he doesnt seem to mind. He is so easy to talk too, he doesnt mind if you ask him questions, he's just so approachable and down to earth. I think he must be a perfectionist because it shows in his design , work and love he puts into these mods. I absolutely think he makes the best mod's in the world...and I promise you I believe that with all my heart.

This Reo Woodvil is a masterpiece...hands down.

Here's a picture of some more wood choices you can get.

Ok...ive probably forgotten something..but if i remember it, I will add to this review.

Well, hope you liked the review....If you get a chance, you really need to check out Reo's Mods on the subforum...Lots of valuable information there that ive probably neglected to mention. There's also information there on sales coming up for Reo Grands and Reo Mini's. Robert is one busy guy and he's keeping lots of us happy :)

Here's a link to the Reo SubForum for more information :http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/

Did I tell you how much I love this Woodvil ? Well, i've ordered me a 2nd, if that says anything. I Love Love LOVE this thing !!!

Ok...Thats it.

Happy Vaping :vapor:

Aw shucks, Clumsy. =D You rock! And yes, so does the woodvil. Mine is pumping out Lemonade vape right now and it is wonderful. =D

REOs really are amazingly durable - I dropped my purpleheart on a concrete floor and while the atty was bent out of shape (hee), the REO itself was just fine. I really do need a bandolier to hold them all, or a pan pipe rack so I can just lean forward and vape any given one at any given time. ;)

That wood combo is beautiful, definitely the one I would go with! Do you know if this is the same feed system as in the Grand? I had some issues with my Grand feeding my LR306s properly (eww juice in the mouth), hoping Rob has made some changes.

Also, I was on the fence on this last release this weekend but I didn't see any native 801 versions, do you know if those are still being offered? I am officially in love with Ikenvapes 801 minis, would love to have a mod with a native 801 connection.

Great review. I ordered the Walnut/Zebra 510 to add to my collection of 4 other REOs - all of which are sitting on my desk right now with different juices in each one. I also have 2 Phidias mods, an Integrity from Scotland, and an OldGoat. They are all bottom feeders, and all of them provide me with hassle free vaping. Thanks for the review. It is much appreciated. Almost forgot. I also have a SouthPaw Masterwork on order, which should be here within the week.

306's work fine on the Grand. You most likely over-squonked, flooding the atty and therefore juice in yo' mouth.

Rob probably won't post any 801 native Woodvils to his site, but I'd bet a dollar you could talk him into making one for you.

Hey Dude,

Robert will do 801 connections if you request it. He made a bunch in the first run but most people want 510's...so he decided to just make the 801's by request.

You'll have to ask Robert about the feeding system but i believe they were upgraded from his first mods. This Woodvil hits like crazy . I know the 801's are a different vape.......and it takes a bit to get used to, or it did for me. I pretty much have it down to perfect but sometimes when my atomizer is on its last legs, i do tend to over feed it...and thats the only issue ive had with the backlash of the juice.

I thnk i saw Robert mention that the 801's are a different breed of atty and they dont have to be kept as wet as other atomizers.

Anyways..I hope this helped a little bit.

Yes! You can use LR attys on any of the REO mods. I have 5 REOs & and they all have LR510 attys on them. There is no comparison to the Silver Bullet, they are two entirely different designs. The bottom feeders such as the REOs will get you through a full day+ of vaping without adding juice or changing batteries. The REO is ideal for vapors that spend a lot of time behind the wheel.

Thanks Clumsy, I'll see if Rob can make me a twin of yours. We'll having matching bassetts and Reos!

Oh Dude....matching bassets and reo's ??? Yayyyyyy :)

Just as banjo said...they really are totally different things. I had a silver bullet and it was one of my favorite vapes for a long time....but the ease of the Reo wins everytime. I use LR attys on my reo's and they work wonderfully. No more dripping, no more carrying around bottles of juice...and the batteries last me all day long.
hope this helps !
