I've been watching since day one and I really have enjoyed the seasons, however I am getting really bored with the first four episodes of this season. While they have a great following I am beginning to think they are going to start loosing some of their audience if the plot doesn't start to thicken soon.

Aside from just having enough juice/wire/wicking during a zombie apocalypse, I agree the batteries are probably the weakest link. But having a decent store of batteries, along with a good solar setup would go a long way. In the end, you're going to have to go back to growing tobacco... but that's a luxury. Who in their right mind is going to spend resources on growing tobacco that could be used to grow food?

The same group of people who would be worried about a solar charger for their batteries when the world has gone to the zombies.

I wouldn't need to grow tobacco. I have almost 2 liters of 100 mg/ml, more than I will most likely be able to use in my lifetime. I will be leaving the address for after I shoot myself in the head, so any vapers who make it through the apocalypse can come get it.

Sorry to hear you aren't enjoying the new season. Sounds like you feel now how I felt while the putzed around on the farm looking for Sophia. Don't worry they will be on the move soon, they just have to cull the crowd at the prison in order to make their escape.

Interesting, I'm feeling just the opposite. Each episode, to me, keeps ramping up the intensity. This flu is the worst enemy they've faced so far, and really has them between a rock and hard place. Plus, we have the mystery of who is feeding rats to the walkers, drawing more walkers to the prison. Is someone still loyal to The Governor? We know he has to resurface at some point.

Admittedly, tobacco would be a luxury, but it's one that many today choose over other things. Passed a guy with a sign on the off ramp yesterday, he was smoking like a chimney.

I think it is Lizzie and her sister. They were naming the walkers, and she was upset when they killed Nick. In one very quick scene (I think with Karen when she was headed to the shower) they show a kid's drawing of the walkers reminiscent of how kid's draw pictures of their families. If she is thinking of the zombie's she named as "special" she might just take the leap to feed them.

That would certainly make sense.

I think Michonne and Hershel have a problem being out there getting rid of the bodies with the Governor lurking. I thought they would take out Hershel with the flu, but maybe Phillip gets him. At least the gov doesn't have an army, just the 3 tents.

Carl is a bad little dude, and Hershel is a lot stronger than I thought tossing zombies over rails like that! :D

I wish Lizzie would have been eaten by that zombie she was leading around like a dog. While it saved Glenn's life, it just shows her inability to fear them and do what needs to be done. She could have saved Glenn's life with her knife and saved a bullet.

Go your way,
I'll take the long way 'round,
I'll find my own way down,
As I should.

And hold your gaze
There's coke in the Midas touch
A joke in the way that we rust,
And breathe again.

And you'll find loss
And you'll fear what you found
When weather comes
Tearing down

There'll be oats in the water
There'll be birds on the ground
There'll be things you never asked her
Oh how they tear at you now

Go your way,
I'll take the long way 'round,
I'll find my own way down,
As I should.

And hold your gaze
There's coke in the Midas touch
A joke in the way that we rust,

Tearing down

Oh how they tear at you now

It has been suggested that we start a thread for Reonauts who watch The Walking Dead, so I decided to start one.

Obviously this thread will contain potential spoilers, so if you haven't watched the most recent episode, or the series at all, you may want to avoid this thread.

What would we need to do to keep vaping on our Reos in the zombie apocalypse? Obviously the Reos would hold up, but we'd need solar power or something to keep our batteries charged. DIY juice would be essential, we could probably stockpile a base liquid, but flavors would be hard to come by.

Now, onto the latest developments. I didn't like what Carol did, though she did it for the right reasons she should have taken her suggestion to the council. In turn, I don't like what Rick did in response, again, he should have taken it to the council. I'm really curious to see how this plays out once everyone is back at the prison. What will Rick tell them?

Note: Anybody is welcome on this thread, it's not just for fans of the Reo. :D

Last nights episode was awesome! I kept having to remind myself to breathe lol, I would hold my breath when I got scared! haha. The Walking Dead and American Horror Stories are BY FAR my fav tv shows. I kept feeling like Hershel was going to die last night :(

Yet another thing I like about WD:
I love the way they use music, and since we have this thread I just figured I would put the song from the show here with the lyrics. It has introduced me to some music I never would have listened to as well as sometimes an old favorite.

I finally got around to watching "The Oath". I had been having wifi problems, and FINALLY talked DH into changing our service. We get the new modem either today (if they are open) or tomorrow. Last night was the first time I was able to download it. I think the old service knows we are dumping them so decided to let me watch it. I didn't think the timeline was right in it though, since the Dr. states "it has been a couple of months" and no way Rick laid in a bed for a couple of months with no food or water. I didn't care for the second one with the storage units, and the only thing I liked was when they found Rick and Lori's storage unit. I really liked the first one about the Bicycle Girl though.

I am more scared for him now than before! Last time they featured Carol and axed her in the next episode. This one was about Hershel, and now he is with Michonne getting rid of bodies and the Governor is lurking. I sure hope they don't, but the way they axed Carol got me really wound up. If they start doing this every time they lose someone it is going to get obvious, so let's hope they don't go down that road

I actually thought Glenn died for a moment! And, just so you all know, Hershel did NOT reuse the ET from the zombie, you can see and hear him tearing open a new one and you can clearly see the guidewire when he inserts it into Glenn. I have assisted on a lot of intubations, and I know what I saw and heard Hershel doing. He shouted for Maggie not to shoot the "over the rail" zombie because he needed the bag and that is what he was shouting, "No, you could hit the bag, we need it for Glenn" not the tube. Talking Dead got that wrong last night. :D

Exactly! The way the kept "featuring" him is what sent the red flag up. As for the incubation the only thing I noticed was how handy he had alcohol that was so easily accessible.

Finally watched last nights episode! Wow, just wow! I was losing it for large portions of the episode. So intense!

Yeah, I knew Hershel used a new tube, and you could see it was clean. I love Scott Wilson, the actor that plays Hershel, he really needs to have a lead role. He is so awesome in this show, and I loved him when he was on CSI as well.

The folks on Talking Dead were blown away by the Governor showing up, but I'd been waiting for him to show up, so I wasn't surprised at all, seemed almost anticlimactic to me, after everything that just happened.

This is definitely my favorite episode this season. So good!

I love the first Boondock Saints, I still haven't seen the sequel, but I haven't heard much good about it.

I actually thought Glenn died for a moment!

I was freaking out. Not Glenn! And last week on Talking Dead they said they would have a surprise guest, which in the past has been a major cast member who died on that nights episode.
