Finally watched last nights episode! Wow, just wow! I was losing it for large portions of the episode. So intense!

Yeah, I knew Hershel used a new tube, and you could see it was clean. I love Scott Wilson, the actor that plays Hershel, he really needs to have a lead role. He is so awesome in this show, and I loved him when he was on CSI as well.

The folks on Talking Dead were blown away by the Governor showing up, but I'd been waiting for him to show up, so I wasn't surprised at all, seemed almost anticlimactic to me, after everything that just happened.

This is definitely my favorite episode this season. So good!

You just reminded me where I saw the guy who plays Hershal! He was what's her name's Father on CSI! I'm a HUGE Daryl fan! So much that I don't know if I'd want to keep watching the show if he died. I've even considered getting a custom wrap of him from j-wraps LOL

Self admitted murderess. Too bad Karen didn't have any Nyquil.

Okay, here's a new theory for you all. Just think about it one second before you dismiss it though...

Carol told Lizzie she was weak. Lizzie said she wasn't weak. Lizzie was ...... about the pet, Nick, she was feeding being killed. Who killed them? Karen. What if Lizzie killed them, Carol found them and helped Lizzie drag them out and burn them? After all, Lizzie likes playing in human blood...

I know, I don't believe it myself but someone else said it so wanted to run that by you guys.

I just did the same thing with the woman who plays Sasha. She looked so familiar, and then I noticed on IMDB that she was in several episodes of Once Upon A Time. Doh! How could I not put that together?

That's an interesting theory, and definitely possible, especially since they really wanted us to see her playing in the blood. When she was leading the intubated walker along, I thought she was just buying time till someone could help her kill it, but now I'm wondering. Carol would definitely try to protect Lizzie, and take the blame herself.

I thought it was interesting enough to share. If it plays that way then Carol wouldn't disappear, she would want to protect Lizzie AND her friends since she knows Lizzie is a killer. Which may give her the opportunity to mess with Phillip and his 2 lackeys. Which would make Kay very happy, because if Lizzie was the killer, Carol gets to come back especially if she kills Phillip. Kind of how Merle got back in.

But they still have to get rid of Hershel, "eventually we all run" and he can't.

Isn't all this speculation fun?

Clearly, we need to get Hershel some sort of scooter. Or one of these.

Amazon.com: Rolling Knee Walker Leg Ankle Foot Crutch Caddy Scooter: Health & Personal Care

I like his new leg, and with it he sure is moving a LOT better. Maybe Merle told them where to find them? There may be hope for Hershel, but I think it will come down to Phillip killing either Michonne or Hershel in the next episode. I am on pins and needles knowing he is out there with hostile forces. I am grateful they only showed 3 tents and Martinez looked pretty fed up especially since the Gov wasn't even going to kill the burning zombie.

With Maggie and Glenn in the infirmary, no one is on lookout in the tower

That Caddy Scooter needs a few chain saws mounted on it

Does the new "good" cancel out the past "bad"?

Good question. I imagine no one would trust him, regardless of the good he has done. Woodbury was a good thing, at least on the surface. Those people were happy and healthy, but their little zombie arena was a tad disturbing.

If I remember correctly from a comment I heard a long time ago, this would be only the 2nd episode without Rick in it at all? All in all, NOT one of my favorite episodes. Not even close. But the writers are so good I am sure all of it was crucial in his further character development and what he has in mind for the prison occupants. So maybe after the story unfolds I will change my mind and like this installment.

That man was too twisted with the torture thing, so I don't think he can become all good. He enjoyed killing, raping and torture too much. It isn't like Carol who killed the living to possibly protect others, he gunned down his army out of rage that his "soldiers" weren't following orders. I think as long as he has a little Penny replacement he might be grounded, but as he said to Milton about Penny "She would be scared of me, but she would still be alive if I had been this way before". Nobody better mess with his girls, or his grasp on humanity will be gone in a snap again. So most likely someone will mess with his girls soon enough. Probably something about the "dead weight" comment in the preview is going to happen since his girls are pretty helpless. We can hope that is why he went back to the prison, perhaps to send his girls there where they will be safer? Since they think his name is Brian they wouldn't connect him to the Governor right?

It was all good that we got the flashback to show us where he had been, but this episode happened long BEFORE we see him lurking outside the prison. So I am still worried for Michonne and Hershel.

I still want to see Rick telling Daryl and Tyreese about Carol ...? And Carol never saw the governor or Woodsbury, so she just may be with Martinez ergo with the Gov and clueless a la Andrea.

Yeah, I don't think it would take much to send him back over the edge.

As much as I missed seeing the other cast members, and finding out how they react to Rick's handling of Carol, I love seeing these other little pockets of TWD world.

True, but they have a whole book series just on Brian Blake aka the Governor aka Phillip Blake aka Brian Heliot aka whatever-the-heck name he is using this episode. I would have liked it MUCH more if they at least snipped in something from the main group. Just a snippet... a welfare check, a glimmer of Carol even!

Like I said, usually the epis that I don't like at first end up being ones I enjoy as the story develops further. I seem to be a bit fickle
