I would actually lean more towards Iran or North Korea if i was going to speculate. China has far to much invested in us to be a real threat. North Korea i doubt has the capability. Iran though has the scientist for biological weapons and if provoked i would say is our biggest threat. And it's not hard to imagine an airborne biological attack going haywire. It's happened a few times in history already.

Aaaaaaaand, we're back! To the regular old Governor, that is. So much for the hint at character growth. I'm glad they introduced us to his new group, so it won't just be the Governor and a bunch of nameless henchmen trying to take the prison, but I was hoping they would do a little more with him. Oh well, they did a nice job of giving us two groups of nice people, so we can feel torn about the upcoming battle.
I will not feel torn about the upcoming battle except for the people they are about to kill off. I am still fearing for Hershel because of the statement about running that was made. And Glenn, they saved him to die another day.
While the new group was interesting to see, they are still going to invade another group and kill them for the prison just like Morgan said. Brian was just grooming them for it, hoping maybe this group would be more effective than the last. While I am sure given time I will warm up to this part of the story, I am not happy with the time it took away from our core group.
Personally, I say let them have the infected prison, it would serve them right. Rick's group needs to hit the road so the new cast members can be introduced. They still have Dr. Eugene Porter, Sgt. Abraham Ford and Rosita Espinosa to add to the group, and it is the mid-season finale next week!
Perhaps torn wasn't the best word. I just meant that I don't want most of the folks in the new group to die, and I certainly don't want anyone in the prison to die, but of course some will.
wow! what an episode!! How in the world am I going to make it till February!!! Poor Hershel! and Judith!
I knew these things would come to pass. I knew Hershel would have to die, but there was no way to prepare for it. I'm sorry the little girl died, but I had a feeling that would happen, something had to totally unhinge Phillip. This was a very sad episode, but it was very satisfying to see Phillip and the tank driving ...... die.
My only complaint is how easily Phillip took out Michonne, when he captured her and Hershel.
Hershel smiling was a very Obi-Wan Kenobi to me, he looked so certain that everything would be fine. Scott Wilson was so wonderful as Hershel, I will really miss him.

Yeah, I hope Judith is ok, and it certainly is possible that she is, but boy they really made it look like she's dead.
I feel that he was smiling because of the speech Rick gave.. about being able to "come back" and Hershel knew he had finally gotten through to Rick. I also think that Hershel knew he was about to die. Why Why Why would Lily leave Megan playing by herself way off like that?! Maybe because Brian told her they were safe there? I knew someone would die and I'm not surprised it was Hershel but I'm still sad and in shock at the whole episode. I kinda expected Carol to make an appearance and save something and was surprised she didn't.

That was the best episode of the series hands down for me......it felt like the final battle in a movie of good vs evil where I couldn't help but cheer and clap as the good guys win and I rarely do that. Can't wait to see what's next

It was the best eppie for me, too. I just wish, personally, that Lily would've left the Gov alive..to turn into a zombie!
I've watched this eppie three times so far.When i saw what happened to Hershel I had to change the channel for a bit, I wanted to go thru the screen and kill the Gov myself
But the man who plays him is a superb actor!

I've got my eyes closed while I'm typing this so I don't see anything. I couldn't watch it last night because I was sick and just went to bed. Is there anywhere I can watch it? I have dish and AMC doesn't support viewing with that provider it seems.

I just knew that damn Brian would do something to Michonne and Hershel out there. And since they did the whole Hershel episode, we knew it was going to be his time. That and Daryl saying about the running thing. When they pay too much attention to someone they usually like to off them. Giving him the theme song tolled his doom. I am just glad he is (so far) the only confirmed dead in the battle. Except the red shirts and Brian+ of course
Now the group is completely spread all over again. Glenn and Maggie are apart and she probably lied about not being pregnant so hopefully she will have a baby bump when they do meet up again. They should have a meeting spot for everyone like they did on the highway after the farm, but for some reason I think they are going to spend a bunch of time having them all over with a big reunion at the end of the next season or some such nonsense, kind of like they did before they found the prison.
Carl has to take care of Rick, he is shot and had the snot beat out of him. They don't really show them being with anyone else in the previews, but Michonne has to be out there since she skewered Brian. She should track down Rick and Carl (saving Carl from the walkers he is leading away from Rick) since that is what she did before. And if the psycho Lizzie did the most basic thing right, Judith should be alive, but that little bloody drag mark didn't look promising and I doubt even AMC would be so bold as to actually show us what Rick and Carl saw that convinced them she was dead. At least Tyreese knows how to get out the back door he came in and can take the girls out. I wonder what he is gonna do when he catches Lizzie playing with small furry animals?
There's Bob, Maggie and Sasha, but they may also team up with Ty. There's a bus that contains Glenn, and just about all the nameless folks. I found an online episode. I think it would be awesome if Tyreese and the girls stumble on Carol. Rick never got a chance to tell him who the killer was. And do we really know that the Governor is dead? Do we really know she didn't swing the gun away at the last moment? Lots of blood in the baby seat, but no baby ummm.......leftovers. I think it's a blood spill from the shootout and the girls left the baby inside.

There were zombies in the background headed towards Brian, he was skewered through by Michonne and had blood out his mouth so you can guess that either the digestive tract or lungs were punctured. If she hadn't shot him, he would need some medical assistance. She is a nurse and I am 99% sure she doesn't have the skill nor the equipment necessary to heal him even if she could have moved him from where he was. I doubt some miracle is going to save him, and I doubt Lilly bought what he was selling.
As for the rats, don't you think it was Lizzie the psychopath who faked an illness so she could watch the excitement of all the people dying and turning into zombies? She likes to play in blood remember. She never had a fever, and those pathetic little non-productive coughs didn't sell me on her being the least bit sick.
And as for Judith, I sure hope you are right. But she did last a long time longer in the show than she did the comics.
Oh no. I mean not dead as in undead. In that situation I'd personally have a lot more satisfaction leaving him to become one of them.
Lizzie is the glaring possibility on the rats which I think makes it too easy. Still thinking it can turn out to be someone else.
That only leaves one then, the army medic Bob Stookey (who was the town drunk at Woodbury in the books and I think the comics also) but he did fight for the prison, even taking a bullet. I think the white box was his booze as he said he was going to find a quite place to sleep, but it could have been rat dissecting equipment. My money is on the psychopath Lizzie though, since there were 2 feeding those rats and Bob is pretty much a loner

All I know is that I'm becoming one of the walking dead. I almost never get sick, so when I do, it wipes me out. I have sick time at work, but am in a position where no one, no one at all, can cover for me, so I can't use it. Ugh. I'll try not to kill and eat you guys if I turn.
