Your inline meter will do the job . Test it before and after you should see some improvement
Class act as always Rob, thank you!!

I have had my Reo for 45 days now,I havent touched my other devices once since I started Reoing.
Kind of a shame in a way because I bought a fairly hi end mech tube mod 60 days ago,anyway..........
Yesterday he vape started getting weak, and went down hill quick.
I gave the positive pin a sckritch with my pocket knife and it worked ok till I got home and did a bit of filing to the same pin.
So thats the first bit of matenance Ive had to do.Still havent washed it.
A month and a half of filling the bottle changing batts and building a coil weekly, about 3 mils a day.
Wish Id bought this first
I recently made a coil from some 28 gauge that Jen sent me. I made a 1.1 ohm coil. it was hitting great but after a few days it started to get weak. I lived with it a few days and I would keep swapping out batteries often thinking I need more vapor and heat. I took some hits off my Roughstack with a 1.7 ohm carto and I was getting a better hit off that than with the RM2 with a 1.1 ohm coil! I couldn't figure it out. Thinking maybe my batteries were just getting old I got out the multimeter. I measure the coil and it was at 1.1 ohm still. Then I tested it under load and I got 3.75 Volts. Still had no clue what was going on. I then filed the firing pin and applies Noalox. I still got the weak hit. What could be wrong? I decided to change out the coil even though I didn't think that would help because it was reading 1.1 ohms but anything at that point was worth a try.
When I went to remove the screws to take the coil out one of them was loose. I tightened it back up. Vaping nirvana again. I thought I had tightened them down well but either I had not or one worked its way loose. So if you are having problems a check on the attys screws is something to check out.
I have had that happen more than once. Even when putting the RM2 on the REO from the meter.
Sometimes I think I did not tighten them enough. Sometimes I wonder if the repeated heating of the coil/wire works the screw loose.
Either way it is something that I check first now if there is a problem.
What are you getting for voltage drop ?What would you guys say is an exceptable voltage drop for a Reo Grang and a 1.5 ohm coil?

What are you getting for voltage drop ?
What is the voltage of the battery when you tested it ? You should getting better results . Run your test with a fully charged battery and let me no what your getting for a readingI'm getting 3.7 under load with a fresh AW IMR right now. I'm pretty happy with the vape I'm getting right now. I just never tested my Reo when I first got it so I don't know if that is optimal or not.

Your contact is dirty clean it with a metal file and report back .It was fresh off the charger. The battery was reading 4.1something. I can't remember the last number. My Reo was reading 3.78.
Mechanical mods need to be maintain for optimal performance . Scotch bright wont cut it for cleaning the contactI've been chasing a similar problem. AW IMR 18650 1600mah 4.2V right off charger. 1.1 ohm coil giving me 3.6 ohm under load.
I tried cleaning it off with a scotchbrite pad but maybe it's not abrasive enough to really effect it. When I first got it, I was only seeing about a .3 V drop (4.2 => 3.9v under load)
This thread is here to help I didn't think you were upsetAs an update, I went to the hardware store and got a file. Filed the contact as well as top and bottom of the battery then applied a dab of noalox. Getting 3.7V now but although the voltage didnt increase much, the performance seems to have definitely improved.
I keep my mod clean. Obsessively so sometimes. Dont get me wrong rob, wasnt trying to sound upset, just thought maybe there was something I was missing or something i did to affect my performance. Now that i have a proper file, my contacts will always be nice and clean![]()
quick question, what could cause a tough time feeding juice when bottle is about 1/3 full? it feed great until I hit the half mark, by the time at the the 1/3 point it gets rather difficult
