yep 3.7v battery with a dummy battery and x2 3v for a 6v...thanks.Sweet! Ok so if I ordered a cap with no resistor would I be able to use my glv at both 3.7v and 6v with proper batteries?
Also great job on the site, it looks very nice!

sent you a PM .. just need your address....When you get more time as you mentioned in the updates thread, could you also have a looksee at this again Jay? (PMs will have your title of "lost PM," since I'd replied to your request to resend my original question.) Your first answer did sound good (thanks), but was actually not what I meant, so I replied to clarify and ask again but didn't hear back. Thx!

How much are the replacement caps for the GLV when they become available?
30$ on the site and I just picked up some from the welder...their still warm. Most of them are for pre-orders but i may have some left for sale.
Thats cool Jay. Just wondering because it the cap that determines if it runs at 5V or 6V correct? That is where the resistor would be? I have heard of people getting replacement caps and the logos and etching not matching up. Is that true and if it is and I eventually order one could I send it to you to make sure everything lines up correctly?
I use HV attys even at 5V. I use 3.5ohm at 5V and 4.5ohm at 6V. I have 5.2 ohm for use at 7.4V but dont use that combo that much on my chuck. I mainly use 6V. My only 5V mod I have is a Prodigy V2 but I stripped the treads on the connector and cant use it right now. Using a regular 510 atty at 5V you can fry the atty real easily. They are only around 2.5ohm. I used to do that untl I fried 3 attys in a week.See my post in the other thread RE: HV attys...
So, if you get a cap that will run the GLV at 6v and use the HV atty, is this the best of both worlds?
