I'm currently using a tube mod stacked with 2 3.7V Ultrafire protected batteries.

I love it, but I'm slightly nervous about the risk of it turning into a grenade- It has vent holes, which I interpret as the early warning system- when it starts shooting flames out the bottom, duck and cover...

If I were to replace it, what would you suggest? I like the battery life and the amount of vapor.
Safer equivalents?

Thanks for any thoughts-

Lots of good mods out there and I have owned a handful...

At this point in my mod buying "career" I look for a few key things when I am considering a mod that I didn't used to consider...

#1 - does the person building it have a strong technical knowledge about what they are doing - This makes the difference with consistency, quality, performance, battery life etc...

#2 - how does it feel in my hand - I prefer lightweight and not too bulky

#3 who else owns this mod that I know/see around the forums... if the folks that have been vaping a while and also owned many mods like it, then it must be somewhat special/noteworthy.

One of the last mods I bought was a Super T precise plus... one of the more expensive and well made mods out there.

It was a superior product, but it truly didn't feel right in my hand... a totally subjective thing... it worked beautifully... it was pretty etc... but I didn't like picking it up... it was the balance... the weight etc... I kept knocking my front teeth... and with a steel ming... that could have prompted an expensive dental bill... Again, I am at fault here... nothing "wrong" with it...

It was easy to pass on because it is one of the most desirable mods out there and it made someone else really happy...
In any case... as I said... a completely subjective issue and it shouldn't detract from anyone's desire to own one... they are beautiful.

So, now I was looking to buy another new mod and I had it narrowed down to a provari or a vaprlife product.
I couldn't go wrong... lots of happy, long committed customers... few poor reviews...
I ended up going with the Vaprlife Turbo because the VV of provari wasn't so important to me... why spend the extra $...? right?

I spoke with Vaprlife on the phone... they answered my emails... I learned that the owner had strong technical knowledge... he sounded like my stepson who is an electrical engineer ;-) he explained how his circuitry was going to extend my battery life and how I'd probably never have a misfire and how he stood by his work... it was more than a cash cow for him... it seemed to be a passion. I like that.

Within a month, I got their diamante also... I was so in love with the performance of the turbo...

Now... really, this isn't meant to be a sales pitch... it's simply well made... but you might hate the feel of it... or their micro-button may annoy the heck out of you or something else... you do have to appreciate the vaprlife button... it's a tiny little ball-bearing that makes a wonderful little clicky noise.

Anyway, lots of good mods and good modders out there. I will own a provari one day too.

Here are a few that I owned that I thought were high quality:
Puresmoker prodigy, saber touch, reogrand, monkeyboxx, epipemods, super t precise plus
