Resistace wire Iatty

When I make my resistance wire it always come out at about 1.8-2ohm, I appreciate I just need to make it shorter to achieve lower reistance but obviously would it would prob only wrap around probably 3 times around the wick, is what people do or do they buy a different type of resistance wire that would then give them more circles of wrap if you know what I mean

Hi Imeo, i take my hat to you for such a beautiful invention, you are a very clever man, I drive a Jensen Interceptor with cream leather inside , it has various parts that are polished stianless steel, and the GG just suits the inside of the car and would be outstanding in any Rolls Royce, The GG should be standard equipment in any Bently or Rolls Royce or any cars of distinction like this,
Anyway, back to the resistance wire, shall I just make it shorter then to make 1.5ohms and maybe have only 3 coils and this would still be OK is this what you mean, sorry for my poor Greek Language!!

Yes, you can make the resistance wire shorter to get 1.5ohms, even if you get only 3 wraps then.
You could use a thicker wire to get 1.5 ohms and more than 3 wraps of coil.

Grant, I can attest to this statement. My first Ody coil was 1.5 ohm and just barely 3 full wraps (more like two and a half, as one of my NR wire joints wound up almost on top of the wick), but it was also the best vape out of my attempts thus far ;-)

Even though Imeo has mistaken that it is not an Ody, its an Iatty, but that makes no difference does it?? I'm fairly certain Iatty will be the same with 1.5ohm and will still be OK, Ive not seen an Ody yet, Im still playing with my UFS and Iatty, so much so I havnt even tried the UFS yet as I know they can be a fiddly to set up, so Im still playing with the Iatty, and loving every minute of it, Havnt had a faggie for 5 months and wouldnt even if you paid me, Vaping is brilliant fun, and with the added bonus of a GG......WOW the world's your oyster... i must pull the hood up on my anarak Killjoy!!

heh, we've all got Ody on the brain, I think. Basic premise is the same, though. I never got to try the original Iatty, but I'm glad you're enjoying it so immensely

sorry Grant, you are right. I thought it was an Ody. But Iatty works with any number of wraps, no problem. I remember one coil of mine was only 1 time wrapped around the wick and it was smoking as usual
