That's it Tom. gonna use a 9v w/ sw. There should be room enough in the box I used. Maybe even tie the Negs together and break the neg w/ one switch.

Finally got the first one finished. It isn't perfect, but I have tested it out already and it worked!
And when not in use, I can store the wires and clips where the film used to be. 
Nice! Supposedly, the camera centers get some kind of "credit" for the spent cameras. Wonder what that amounts to.
I picked mine up from the Walmart photo shop, but only grabbed two of them.
I can't get it to fuse 30g kanthal with 30g silver, but I had some smaller silver that worked just fine, though it did take me a few tries to get it to work and have a solid connection.

silver seems tough for sure...i wasnt able to get a good connection of 32 kanthal or nichrome to 30 or 28 .999 silver. i was able to connect kanthal to itself, but havent really played anymore. i have some 32 pure nickel on its way, ive heard thats easier.
Couldn't get any freebees in CVS where I bought the one I modded. They said they are sent back for recycling. So maybe there is a credit given for recycling.
Dam, and I spent 90 bucks in CVS today. 37 bucks for the Flu shot and the rest for cold medication and such...
You do know it's from China. I went for the cheap shipping. No hurry.

I'll probably build a DC-DC Step-Up one also and compare the performance. Got all the parts except the main component.
yeah, not in any hurry, the mulitmeter will do for now. ill just add it with a 9v battery and on/off switch when it comes in next xmas.

J, what size batteries and type of cameras did you come up with? Mine are Fuji with AAA batteries.
I'm wondering if all of them are the same, or if there is something we can look for that makes one type a little better than another....if that makes sense.
