Ok, I've read a few of the answers from DonDaBoomVape, Kent & Kurt about atty resistance. You all seem to really know the theory well so here's my problem;

I bought 4 new DSE attys and have 5 (two week) old ones. Resistance=
7 new/old DSE-901= 3.4 ohms
1 new DSE-510= 3.4 ohms
1 new DSE-510 HV/LR= 5.4 ohms
1 new DSE-510 Carto= 3.4 ohms too !

Do these figures seem right ?

Everything is/will be used on a standard DSE-901 "kit" battery. (Hits fine)

PS. I did make madogs magnum flashlight mod so I can test on that too.

Given that the DSE901 batt is a true 3.7volt battery, then on the 3.4 ohm attys/cartoz you'll get @ 4 watts. And here the 510 HV atty at 5.4ohms is out of the question. 6-8 Watts is a common 'sweet spot'.

The Madog magnum runs at around 5.1 Volts so with the 3.4ohm resistance you'll get @ 7.7watts - in a very good range. The 5.4 ohm 510 HV atty gets you 4.8Watts. Those HV attys are really intended for the 6 volt mods ;-)
