[Resolved] Halo sitting the order of a new customer?!?!?

I placed an order late Friday evening the 2nd of August, got the email saying that it was shipped (on Saturday), checked the tracking number and it says "electronic shipping info received" (as of today the 7th) ....then I checked my order again on the Halo website (Order#500045084) and it says "processing" . . .

WHAT THE HELL????
WHY ARE YOU SITTING ON MY ORDER?

Sure it's only 2 SAMPLE BOTTLES but if it hasn't already shipped (I mean ACTUALLY shipped) this will be the LAST time I do business with your company!
I tried to send an email via your website but the thing just hangs there like there is a bug on the site....so here it is...
FIX THIS !

I have 6 orders some going back to June 4th that still say Processing, but they were all delivered within 3 to 5 days. And because I order using First Class the only information I get from UPSP's is 'Electronic Shipping info Received', until the day it's delivered and my local post office scans it. First Class shipping doesn't include tracking, just delivery confirmation.

I suppose that the USPS message should say "Acceptance" by now......which it does not. And anyway they still need to fix the "Processing" thing on the website if everyone is having the same problem....if it's shipped, mark it as such on the website. Otherwise why have any part of the order status at all if the info is erroneous?:facepalm: still doesn't solve my problem, why provide a tracking number when you can't use it to find where the order is. All my other shipments that go first class and have the tracking number have actually been trackable...cept this one......again FIX THIS!

I posted this in a thread below, but I placed a priority mail order on Saturday and it doesn't appear to have been shipped until Tuesday. Priority mail includes tracking so I'm confident in that assessment. Maybe they missed a Monday pickup or something.

My order still says processing at the Halo site, but I know it's in USPS's hands from the tracking. My guess is all of the weekend orders shipped on Tuesday.

How is Halo supposed to fix the post office? The tracking number comes from USPS, NOT Halo.

Priority mail includes tracking so I'm confident in that assessment.
Theoretically...

The tracking isn't any better, though. You really can't go by what USPS tells you. I've had priority shipments stay at "Info Recived" all the way up until it goes "out for delivery."

I've also had them "Accept" packages at 3am...

The "Fix This" is more in response to my account showing as "Processing" and not "Shipped" as it is supposed to. Also their website won't let me contact them so I had to use the regular cs email address. I really don't care when they accept the shipment at USPS as long as it shows that they have. Otherwise I have no recourse but to think they are sitting on it and USPS has not as of yet received the package for acceptance.. Why is everyone else sticking up for HALO when I am the one that is sitting here waiting for the vapemail? Sure my attitude is bad, but I have no answers and it is my first order and I am sick of poor websites/customer service/response time/etc. I am a crochty old man and wanna vent. But moreover I want to try my samples that should have been here by now.

I've been surprised at the blame the customer/USPS sentiment. Considering a few of us are having the same problems, if Halo sat on the package for a day, that would explain everything. I'm not saying this is their norm, but it does appear to have happened on Monday. Otherwise, I'd be vaping and hopefully typing about how awesome Halo's juices are.

I don't know when they handed it to USPS, but I do know the first time USPS scanned it and it seems consistent with the siting on the package hypotheses.

Are these packages supposed to ship from NJ? Mine is coming from MI.

I just got back from the post office and still no order from Halo. I did receive my order today from LitCig that I placed on Monday of this week. I still have not received a reply from Halo Customer Service as to the whereabouts of my order. Ya think that they would sometimes read thru their own company thread here on ECF! I got 3 new cartos waiting for new juice and I am really ticked off!

Some of the Halo employees had to fly to Las Vegas to setup their booth at a Trade Show that was held there from the 4th through the 7th. So they were down a few people in their NJ office. Also they let everyone know that the free 10ml Voodoo offer was going to end in a few days. So quite a few of us rushed to place extra orders while the free Voodoo was still available. While I'm sure the employees that were left in NJ did their best to keep up, they may not have been able to get all the packages out as fast as usual. If the delay was excessive, consider contacting customer service to discuss your situation with them. I've seen Halo go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. I'm sorry for your situation and hope things go better for you next time. :)

That makes perfect sense and would explain a lot. I'm patient and my package is out for delivery, so assuming the juice is as good as they say, I'll be back for more.

I just don't like being told from forum posters that I must have done something wrong. In those scenarios, I tend to dig in.

Actually, I'm happy to say Halo's Marketing Coordinator / Social Media Queen has been in Vegas all week :toast::banana:
And as I've said on many other threads, USPS first class only guarantees final destination delivery tracking. I know in many states USPS goes beyond that, giving full tracking. This is not the case with NJ USPS, they're providing the service paid for, no extras.

Glad to hear you're getting your package! The part about it shipping from MI makes me curious too, if you ever find out why I'd like to know the answer to that myself. Hope you enjoy your juice! :)

Here's what I think happened here:
Your package ships from NJ (Halo doesn't ship from MI)
NJ USPS bungles the package, doesn't scan and sends to the wrong destination (this happened to me months ago)
MI scans and sends to correct destination.
I think this explains both the 'lost day' and the appearance of shipping from MI
Since your getting it today, check the return address, it should be Pompton Plains NJ not somewhere in MI.
Let us know.
