I see, yeah, that seems to be the one that works.
I really hope it's still work in progress.
I discovered, accidentally, that when I was typing in a reply, and had inadvertently clicked a link to another thread after the auto save, and went back to my reply, there was a little button at the lower left of the reply window allowing me to restore the auto save. It was kind of handy actually.

We just a had a big upgrade and our nice support admin worked through the night to get it running smoothly without interrupting your pleasure. Yes there are a couple of minor glitches, but with luck you will be able to live with a tiny avatar without committing suicide before Harry the Viking gets back here tomorrow night (hopefully) to smooth things out.
Unfortunately there are some minor changes. People hate changes. They hate them more than anything, except maybe the mailman being 3 days late. But that's the way it is, people: things change. I'm really sorry you've got a little yellow pop-up thingy now that tells you your XL post has been saved, and I'm sorry there is now a grey border round the textbox, and I'm sorry that video uploads may not be working just yet, and I'm sorry there's a tiny, tiny little subtle dark blue box almost hidden out of the way right at the top of the header graphic that allows you to get to Facebook in one click. But actually, in the scale of things, this isn't such a bad deal. Your noisy kitten being temporarily reduced in size does not measure up to my relief at having a ton of software upgraded and patched, with no crashes or major glitches or site downtime. Just so you know
Oh and if you don't like the Facebook button or Facebook itself or even the whole social media thing - then complain to Smokey Joe the site founder as he worships the ground it stands on. He is right. The site founder is always right.

rolygate...you're right that people hate change and I for one don't like Facebook but I guess we have to go with the flow. I did get my mouthy brat cat back to normal size so I'll just have to get used to everything else.

And while you're fixing things, Roly, please is there any chance my name can go back to Veteran Maroon and my Full member can go back to PV Master. It kind of happened when I got the asterik behind my name. Angus says he can't make it work, but maybe with the new upgrade someone can figure it out. If everything disappears like that, then maybe the Supporting Member will disappear next time around. Yes I guess I am complaining, but I think I have a legitimate complaint.

I am happy to report that the fix fixed my subscription to the classifieds. I got my first daily update in months! Thank you!
The Facebook thing is part of the latest vBulletin software update/upgrade package. It was added/done by vBulletin. I admin another site that uses vB and we updated recently to this vB build. There's not much that can be done about it on the admin side.
We have a stack of major work to do just now, I do apologize for the avatar glitches etc, to be honest these might not get fixed for a few days.
We may be opening a new forum for support of Whiskey during these difficult times. Please treat her gently as changes to her avi, profile text colors and so on are having a serious effect and we are worried about her.
The pain due to the pane is nothing compared to Whiskey's pain due to the plain jane avi pain she has because of her profile pain.
