I thought the "site feedback" thread was for feedback/whining. Hmmm, my mistake. 
I can live with the tiny avatar because it's only small when I enter a reply. It goes back to normal size when I go back and read what I posted. I'm liking most of the improvements that I've discovered so far with the except of that great big bright blue facebook button. You see how that catches your eye. Pretty annoying. No matter how hard I try not to look at it, it grabs my eye every single time I go to the top of the page. I too am not a facebook fan but that's not the point. It's more prominent than the ECF Logo!!!!!! Does it really have to be so big and bright blue? Why not white with a black background like the rest of the buttons or better yet, move it to the bottom of the page. It looks like what it is....an ad for facebook right on the ECF banner. That's tacky IMHO, for what that's worth.
Many thanks to the people doing the upgrade in getting us back up and going so quickly. With today's technology though, I would think that it would be possible to give a forum wide announcement a few minutes before taking down the forum. A lot of people were in the middle of typing a post and probably lost everything. Just my

I don't see this Facebook button issue, all I can see is a tiny button that I even missed for a while and assumed the work had not yet been done. Here is the result of a test on several browsers and systems, the button is all but invisible on all of them. Please take a screen grab and show me what you can see, if it's larger than in this pic:
The cursor finger points to the FB button, in the last browser pic. I don't see what the problem is.
Also, I do apologize for the site momentary offline during the upgrade but apparently it wasn't possible to warn people about this.

Those who have opted for a different gui on their page (other than kirsch or vb4main) will notice that bright blue quicker as their colors have very little blue.

Roly, these pics are too small to see so I was trying to do a screen print of what I am seeing but my PC crashed. I'm using my laptop now and can't post a screen print until I fix my PC.
I came to see if anyone else was unable to post images and change text color and then learned that whiskey's avatar shrunk and now realize my problems are nothing in the greater scheme of things.
Oh this is what I see now in Kirsch
I can use vB4 main to see the normal options however so its not the end of the world (whiskey's avatar is bigger as well in vB4)

LOL! I for one can live with these minor irritations until it is all sorted out. Thanks for keeping it all running so smoothly during the upgrade and not letting us be completely without ECF causing major and uncomfortable withdrawals for many of us
What the OP said - no text format controls or smilies, in the Advanced editor. In fact we fixed it so good you now have some basic formatting in the Rapid post editor, which weren't there before.
But as to whether they actually work, or are just a jpeg of the controls - well we'll have to see. There could be an issue with image upload/embedding but that happens after every upgrade. I don't know why that is and neither do the tech admins or they would fix it at upgrade time...
And WRT any other issues in this thread, they are OT so I don't have to answer

How do I delete a open PM? The little check box at the bottom of the msg is gone. When I click "delete this message" it says I didn't select a msg. Maybe this is one of those bugs that admin is working on, IDK.
