I don't understand why you would choose not to give him your patronage because he smokes. Do you not eat a chefs food who smokes? Buy a movie ticket from a theater who's owner/manager/CEO may smoke? He could do as he damn well pleases as long as he isn't harming me or breaking any laws and I would shop there if he was knowledgeable on what he is selling and has reasonable prices or some fantastic juices!

No I would not hire a fat guy to (im not PC;-) to sell sell my diet products.

I see your point but now that Im a vapor I would buy from him if he had quality stuff at a decent price.

I might kind of wonder if I were trying to quit and a guy with a smoke hanging from his lips was telling me sure buddy this will give you the cure!

But its still somewhat a free country and we have a semblance of a free market so good for him hope he makes a million dollars so he can afford his smokes!;-)

As long as the products are high quality and I felt like I could trust what I was buying, I would absolutely buy from someone who smokes and vapes.

I would possibly be off put if I walked up to a store and the owner was standing outside the door smoking,or smoking inside, but it wouldn't keep me from buying. I would just consider that a bad judgement call since most of us are ex-smokers or trying to smoke and exposing potential customers to cigarette smoke wouldn't be ideal.

I used to by Marlboros from a man that didn't smoke. He was one of the most knowledgeable people on tobacco I knew.

The diet plan thing doesn't correlate very well. You are selling results that are visually apparent and have a very distinct expected result. That would indicate the product doesn't work. If the product worked, why hasn't that person lost weight. To put a similar question back at you - Would you hire a formerly heavy person that lost weight using a different product to sell yours?

Just because a person doesn't vape doesn't indicate the product doesn't work or that they don't know what vapers want. One of the few b&m stores I bought stuff out of the guy didn't vape but he was knowledgeable. All they have to do to learn is listen to customer feedback.

would you buy a diet plan from an obese person?....or let me ask this way.. as an investor would you hire an obese person to sell your diet plan?

I wouldn't buy a diet plan at all...lol. And here discrimination in hiring due to weight is illegal so while I may not hire him it wouldn't be due to obesity...probably just go with the old 'overqualified' excuse. Also it would matter if his obesity was the clinical definition of over 35 BMI. Many bodybuilders are clinically obese and could probably be very successful at selling said diet plan.

Regardless that is a different decision all together. While it is alaguous in ways, its not in others as it's a completely different product bought for completely different reasons. Not everyone buys vapes stuff to stop smoking.

In the end, the online shops I order from now, I have no clue if the owner smokes or not and really don't care.

As long as he has good prices I don't care if he shoots glitter out of his .....

I might pay extra just to see that. LMAO.

I would pay extra to see this too..... I mean, there is entertainment and all... lol

Op, I'm not one to ever pass judgement.... so I would probably just think he is fighting the daily fight like many of us and that hammer just banged another nail in his coffin.... but.... if the seller is pitching a line that this is the greatest thing since sliced bread, and you are guaranteed to quit and make an easy transition and there's a cig hanging off their lip?
Now this is a horse of a different color. If I was a complete newbie? I'd probably walk out.
