I noticed a few days ago that my screen was going blank (with full charge) as if I had it on Stealth mode. It certainly was not on any other mode but Wattage mode. I clicked 5 times to turn off and on and the screen came back. But as soon as I pressed fire it went blank again. It still however did fire even though the screen was off. A few mins of vaping later it auto fired while sitting on my desk. I luckily saw all the vapor bc my music was blasting and i was on the other side of the room. I quickly unscrewed the scorching hot atty and removed the batteries. It definitely fired for longer than the 10 second cutoff. I checked the batteries in the charger and they where fine. Next day, auto fire again. I rolled back to an earlier version of firmware and still same thing. Anyone out there run into this problem before?

Sounds like you had a lucky escape, for now don't use it. To me that sounds like a straight up faulty mod, is it still under warrantee?
It'd be great if the manufacturers addressed this SOON. It's been going on too long.
Unfortunately no it's no longer under warranty. It's disappointing but such is life. It was great while it lasted. I'll ve thinking twice (maybe 5 times) before purchasing a wismec/joyetech product in the future. Thanks for the feedback.
