I'd go with the Drag, simply because Vaporesso is selling a bill of goods with the Revenger. We don't have 18650 batteries capable of powering 220 Watts in a dual battery setup. I'm a fan of Vaporesso tanks using the EUC Ceramic coils, but their mods not so much.

As for batteries...

Vaporesso got me with that clock. Punctuality is important to me. :) I'm with you on their tanks, Cowboy. I love the Veco tank, but they are hard to come by if they are not attached to a mod. I ended up buying their pen-style to get the tank.
I appreciate the chart, but does a dual set-up make any difference? I have been happy with the Sony VTC6 batteries in my other mods, but I really don't know anything about batteries; I just purchased what a friend told me to.

Here's rough but handy rule of thumb when selecting batteries.

Total watts desired ÷ No. of batteries ÷ 3 = Amps needed from each battery

The VTC6's are good up to about 140 Watts. Those are ~20 amp batteries and 140 would stress them on long draws in a chain vape session. A better choice would be a set of LG HB's. Those are 30 amp batteries and would take you up to about 180 Watts.

If you don't intend to push triple digit wattage, go with the Samsung 30Q's. Those are also 20 amp cells but they have 3000mah capacity, twice that of the LG's.

A dual 18650 is fantastic for lower wattage vaping and very long battery life. That was one of the reasons for my Pico Dual kit purchase. I rarely stray above 40 Watts and my Samsungs last for days and days.

I like my 30q's so much I ordered more.I
Only order from Liion Wholesale. Good reputation, service, and prices. Mooch has some other trusted sites as well. If you order from any of those sites you'll be fine. I personally would go for the Drag. Menu seems more user friendly.

Thanks Letitia. I did order from Liion Wholesale. They have great prices, and are on my side of the country. I decided to put off the Drag for another month, and ordered a new battery charger, and got the Pico Dual kit for $35. That will give me a chance to play around with a larger mod, and if I don't like it, I haven't wasted a bunch of money.

Hi! There are couple tricks I have learned with FT. 1) Never buy anything from Nov. to Apr. 2) Never buy anything that is not in stock. 3) Always pay for USPS shipping. It is cheap and you get a tracking number. 4) Make sure the product states it is Authentic. If you follow all of the above you will get your stuff in 8 to 10 days. MY :2c:!

Between the two... I have no preference for brand either way, so I would have to go by the Aesthetics and from what I can tell from pictures I got from Element Vape. i'll link the site so you can see the pictures and info that I'm looking at.

The Voopoo drag, looks like it's a "classic" box mod design. It reminds me a lot of the Sigeli 100 I have. It will be thinner with fairly squared off edges. Looks like Stickers on the doors, which actually help from scratches, in the future. However, there still will be no protection from the edges, which will get dinged over time. Because it's thinner, it won't sit as well on a table, and the heavier the tank you put on it, the more prone to accidental knockover it will be. The 510 looks solid, and is slightly risen from the box, leaving room so the atomizer doesn't scratch the top of the mod when screwing it down.

The Vapresso Revenger looks more Aesthetically pleasing to me. It has a larger screen, and displays the power level of the individual batteries which is useful for determining if you need to swap the batteries out. It is a larger mod, and will be pretty stable setting it down on the table. The buttons on the front of one side means it won't be advisable for left handers, since using your left hand will cover the display, and possibly push some accidental buttons. The chipset looks newer, and might offer a more stable power. This mod, however, looks like the sides might be more scratch prone as well as the 510 on top being flush. I believe screwing the atomizer down will scratch the top of the box.

Overall, I would probably go for the Revenger. I wold find some sort of go-between for the 510 (I do that anyways now) like a Kepler heat sink. Neither will be pocket friendly, however I think the Drag might be more portable in the long run. I think the Revenger is just a newer design.

Thoughtful and thorough response. Mine won't be such. :)

Drag. Build quality is top notch for the price.

Comparing my alien and revenger

Size wise the revenger list smaller and very light but still feels very durable

More i use it more i like it

Screen scratches and dings easy only one screen works tho the battery door is awesome with a tank screwed on i cant get it off

Revenger turns on in literally a second and shuts off that fast too

My vtc 5 seems to be lasting longer than my alien

Fact i got my revenger for 25 from a vape shop employee who turned real life friend i would of paid 70 for it easy really has me wanting to sell my alien kit

For what it's worth, I love my revenger with a big baby beast.

I've had no issue with it, carry it in my pocket at work and set it on my bench. It's been knocked over but never dropped at look like new after a month or so.

I vape between 35-40w, batteries last all day/night. Have Samsung 25s. The only complaint I have is I bought blue and wanted black. All they had in stock though so minor quibble.
