It seems like the ribbon wire would be very difficult to work with on a rba. I have a IGO-L and I doubt I could get a ribbon wire to catch under the tiny screws.

Just back the Igo screws far enough that it catches the width of the ribbon. Then tighten for a strong bond.

I have no problems with the ribbon wire and connecting to the post with tiny screws. Just get it nice and tight and you are good to go. I even have ribbon on my AGA T+ and the post screws on those are horrible IMO...tiny and even after tightening come loose easily.

I use the ribbon in my AGA-T and as above the center post screws are tiny but it all works fine for me.

I finally ordered some today, and hoping it lives up to all the hype. Always exciting to try something new, and very satisfying when it actually lives up to the type. /fingerscrossed

just ordered some as well .5 * .1 mm apparently this is roughly equivalent to 30g wire. very curious to try.

That's what I ended up getting as the .8 variety produces lower ohm's from what I've read.

I'm liking the nichrome .4 x .1 better than the .8 x .1 kanthal much more. I made a 6 wrap on a 3.5 mm silica wick. It's a thicker more plentiful vape. I'm getting 1.6 ohm which is my favorite ohm reading. Flavor is just unbelievable. I got mine in a couple of days from Kidney Puncher.
