^That. I love this thing, but mine looks a bit beat up from moving and plugging the air hole. Perhaps a discount on a replacement cap or entire genny when v2 is released?

I love the thing, I just hated having to carry a paper towel in my pocket to wipe it off after a few vapes. he readjusted airhole position fixed this on mine, but I don't foresee too many people wanting to redrill and plug holes.

What is wrong with the air hole? Mine is great where it is? A lot of the Chinese atties have the air hole way too high and it does not vape well. I am glad this is not too high. If it is too high when you draw the air in it goes in and right out the top cap without giving any air to the wick. Lower is definitely better.

Thanks! I need to pick up some new wire brushes and buffing wheels for my dremel. Try to clean up the spots that corroded from the heat. If that doesn't work, it'll likely be going to the scrap pile for a little while until I am able to do the appropriate grinding/filing to allow for the powdercoat to be applied.

Thankfully I enjoy tinkering!

Edit: I may try doing a polish job on it to see what it looks like after being torched w/ the satin finish then cleaned down to a shine.

I am assuming you used a bench grinder/polisher for yours? what compound did you have to start with to cut through the media-blasted finish?

I just used wet/dry sand paper. no brush wheel, compound or anything. Then used some mother's mag and aluminum polish after. No heavy machinary at all. Just my hands and some water and sand paper. I need to get another atty and was hoping maybe someone had a coupon code here. :(

I'm a soldier. My mod gets tossed around quite a bit at work every day. With the stock airhole that sits right at the base, when I run, work, etc. any overflow juice on the deck spills out into my pocket. If you look earlier in the thread, I think I posted a pic of where I moved it to. Just about 1.5mm +/- above the stock one. Still directly on my coil, but gives me that little catch cup to prevent the overflow/spillage problem.

If I worked at a desk or could keep it upright all day, I would not have modified the cap.

Cheers to a great atty and the ability to make it work even when rolling around in the dirt :p

That is the one issue with genesis. They do leak. I try to keep them upright at all times. Maybe try a silica atty like Penelope or the Terminator for times when you can't keep the gennies upright? It is a bit of a pain. I usuaaly just take something other than a genesis when I aa out and about. Maybe someday someone will come up with a genesis that doesn't leak.

Ording another Richman atty today. I just bought a Ice matee and polished Roller so I am planning on making this next Richman atty 2 tned also to match. Here is a pic of the first Richman atty I bought. First I made it brushed finish and then made it polished. Looks great ether way and is very easy to do. Most of my mods are polished so I wanted to make it match. Looks great and it vapes incredibly well. Definitey a great atty and worth the price. Vapes just as well and maybe even better than some of my $150 atomizers.

Here is before.

Brushed to matched the matte portion on my Kalafan

and beautifully polished to match my polished nemesis. Looks incredible together.

I really want to go ahead and order one but after hearing that the V2 will come out, I'm hesitant. I live in Taiwan so things get expensive and long to get to me so I have to make my purchase wisely. If EVO could shed some light on the release date then I can make my decision. If it is still months away, I will get one now.

Thanks

The hybrid will have at least a 3mm wick hole. As for the picture, I do have a computer graphic model. :)

I will post it in a later date. I think I may do a few changes before I release it. :vapor:

Any pics of the hybrid yet? Is the wick hole being enlarged on the Hybrid and V2 RBA?

I do have a custom drip tip that will be in production very soon. It will look very nice on the Hybrid and RBA's.

SS in same media blasted finish and polished finish.

Thanks for the ETA, I just placed my order. #720

If you happen to have a drip tip that matches the RBA finish, I would like to add that to my order as well. Thanks

Looking forward to it. Hopefully it'll have a unique style... Maybe a styled top cap/windowed tank shield.
